I think Clay spoke about this? They want to save Elliot’s leg and not overuse him. They do use Elliot when they want to go for more placement accuracy but just to put it in to the end zone they know Mann can do it.

Nick is allergic to using FG kickers in any situation except 50++ yards to save his ass from his OWN stupidity. I'm so over this idiot.

At this point I am not certain there is any decision that he can make that will surprise me. I think he should have been required to do a drug test after the game. Another game managed like this one will convince me he wants to be fired.  

 

 

I guess he was just better in practice at putting the football in the "landing zone". And he hasn't been great at that, so probably Elliot doesn't have that touch at all.
