Defensively, do helmets/heads need to be in front of the los? Brotherly Shove question....

I noticed the D when lining up to stop the Shove, their helmets are almost touching our o-linemans and seems to be definitely beyond the los. Was just wondering if that's a legal way to lineup? If not legal, I hope the Eagles see it and notify the refs like they did against the way Kelce snapped the ball

You can never lineup with a part of your body in the neutral zone defensively. The NFL clearly is allowing teams to line up illegally against us because they don't like the play and there is no basis for them to have it banned without affecting other elements of the game.

I don't know why the NFL doesn't like it. It's not like we invented it or something. This type of play goes all the way back to the origins of football as a sport.

The Refs have clearly been instructed to be lenient on this issue, but in all honesty the coaches could call it out with examples in a couple of pressers and it would likely sort it out.

That's what I'm hoping will happen. Just like they have started to really pay attention to the illegal man down field penalty.

I can't get a good shot down the line but here's another example of the D lining up over the los

Brotherly Shove died last Sunday. Of course, stubborn and retarded Siri will keep trying to force that play, even though it doesn't work anymore- Kelce is GONE.

Because it’s not a sexy play and there’s a higher chance people can get hurt with all those big bodies in such a small space. Plus you don’t have the chance to see receivers catching the ball 20 yards down the field or running backs making people miss in open space and therefore they can’t use it in highlight packages, commercials or social media.

As far as the league office is concerned, it’s a wasted down.
