GDT: Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys, 11-10-24, 4:25 PM EST

Hopefully, Mailata is back on Thursday. It’s been 4 games.

Man I can't remember the last Dallas game that was as easy as that.

That stadium is an awful design for games at this time at this time of year, the sun shining through the windows affected both teams.

Fair play to Vic Fangio, his defense was rough to watch the first few games but they look among the best in the league now. We're fun to watch when all the offensive pieces are in there.

The Washington game will be interesting, I think they're good but maybe not as good as their record suggests. Roll on Thursday.

Unfortunately though he’ll probably now fire McCarthy.

Until then I’m gonna enjoy the downfall

I like the D- everyone is swarming to the ball. The offense is good- just want to see it grow, The won big, as it should be.

credit to fangio. easily a top 10 defense right now. of course we only go as far as hurts takes us and we'll see how he looks after this tough stretch of the schedule.

100%. I was very critical of Fangio but he has them playing really well. I’ll eat that crow everyday.

All this Winning feels so good.   Yes this was a Dak-less Cowboys but we did what we were supposed to do.  Good teams take care of business against inferior teams.  Shaky 1st half but I think the Sun may have had an effect.  Jalen finally had some turnovers.  He wasn't going to be perfect all season but that was the first ones in 5 games.  He cleaned it up an ended up with 4 total TD's.   That's 16 Total TD's in 5 games.   Saquon was a little quiet in this game but did what he needed to do.   Cooper Rush now has 2 career losses, both are to the Eagles.

Defense was fantastic. Mutiple Sacks, 5 TO's.  Held another team to low points.  The Eagles Defense is clearly one of the Best in the League.    The Eagles are now on a 5 Game Winning Streak.   Well, The Boys and GMen are probably officially out of it.  They are too far behind for the Division.   There's an outside chance for Wild card still but doubtful.    It's down to the Birds and Commanders for the Division.    Game on Thurs.  This is the 1st Eagles win in Dallas in 7 years since the Super Bowl Winning 2017 Season.  Jalen wins 1st game in Dallas.   Saquon wins 1st game against Dallas ever.

It was nice to see the team rest in the 4th quarter while Washington had to play a very physical Pittsburgh team. Could be a huge advantage on only 4 days rest.

YAY!!!!!!!

Here we go!  Let’s hear the excuses of the ‘pukes: good-but-not-great-win-you-beat -backup-qbs!  Don’t care, as long as it’s hated division rival organization, this games has always been a grinder.  Not today,  we know the opponent was wounded & old fashioned butt-whoopin 🦅

Jerry Jones is crazy for this, It think both teams missed some passes because of it.

Once the sun went down so did the Cowboys. This defense really is hitting on all cylinders. Getting out of Dallas with a win so convincing that they can rest guys for Thursday. This is what good teams do to bad teams.

Sirianni took the points in this one.

Their previous stadium ALSO had sun glare problems. Jerry Jones loves him some poor stadium design.

Kind of crazy that I’ve gone from hating a team from Texas to hoping a team from Texas wins. 😂

2017 in Dallas when we also won by 28p. Remember 2017?????

This defense held Cooper Rush to 45 yards through 3 full quarters.    That might be one of the worst QB performances I've ever seen.  It's probably our best Defensive Performance of the year.

Hurts haters gonna hate even when he gets praise.  QB1 for years to come

Even with that interception, Hurts was terrific Sunday, once again. The INT was just a really good play by Trevon Diggs, but Hurts was nearly perfect after it, and that’s what you get from Hurts. Every quarterback is going to go through some adversity, it’s the nature of the position, but Hurts is so good at shrugging that stuff off and going back out there and playing smart, aggressive and efficient, and we saw that Sunday. His first pass after the INT was a 27-yarder to Jahan Dotson. Shrug it off. Hurts finished 14-for-20 for 202 yards, two passing touchdowns, two rushing touchdowns and a 115.0 passer rating. He’s only the sixth quarterback in history with five consecutive games at 115 or higher, a list that also includes Aaron Rodgers, Philip Rivers, Russell Wilson, Matt Ryan and Patrick Mahomes. And four straight games at 70 percent or higher. And then there was 7-for-56 rushing, including a dynamic 24-yard scramble on that huge TD drive before halftime. Hurts isn’t being asked to do a lot right now, but what he’s doing, he’s doing at a very high level ... even with that interception and fumble.

"Television replays caught Lamb pointing at his eyes, as if he lost the ball in the sun.

Would Lamb be in favor of curtains?

"Yes," he said. "1,000 percent."

Will he bring it up to Jones?

"I mean y'all are doing my job right now," Lamb said.

It might not matter since Jones has been dug in on the matter since the stadium opened in 2009.“

Fans can downplay the sun and its effect on this game if you would like to, but even the Cowboys had some difficulty due to it and it’s their stadium! I don’t think it was a coincidence that once the sun went down, the Eagles clobbered this team in the third and were playing backups early in the 4th.

Why 44-6 specifically?

It occurred to me (while watching "Top Gun"), that maybe you weren't watching the Eagles when 44-6 happened. Do you know that game?

We went into the final game of the 2008 season at 8-6-1. We needed the 7-8 Texans to defeat the 9-6 Bears and the 5-10 Raiders to beat the 9-6 Buccaneers on the road, then we needed to beat the Cowboys (at the Linc). Winner of the game, would go to the playoffs.

It was also (if I'm not mistaken), Dawk's final game as an Eagle at the Linc.

If you've never seen the movie "Silver Linings Playbook", the Eagles and 44-6 play a role in the movie.

I think Washington is as good as the best of em. This is definitely our toughest game on paper.

This game could decide the division. Short week, tough opponent and the same division record. There are a bunch of games to be played, but this will be critical for seeding

My goodness in the current NFL the Eagles held the Cowboys quarterbacks combined to under 50 yards passing! Friggin insane.

But Fangio just plays soft zone all the time and never blitzes!

Since Cooper DeJean was inserted into this defense everyone has looked so much better. Two playmaking linebackers. They’re blitzing. Fangio has these guys on fire.
