My concern is the offense. I know they put up 37 points yesterday and 28 last week but they’ve missed opportunities and not played great overall. They need to sort that out and maximise the talent they have because the defense can’t hold the elite teams to under 10 points.

I'm concerned with the offense too, but for a different reason. Even though the ball is getting spread out it seems like they're relying too much on Barkley.

Yeah I think that’s fair. But then they need to keep winning and right now Barkley is a huge reason why we are winning.

Why else would Howie pay him so much? Not everyone can get a huge contract and be a rotational player like Huff turned into.

They are relying on him heavily but right now that’s what this team needs to be. The defense is so dominant that they need the offense to sustain drives and scores points and for the most part they are doing just that. Right now this offense is not playing consistently overall but is still averaging 28 points since the bye and we know they can do more.

Might have something to do with him not being able to make challenging throws and only making the obvious open passes (when he actually goes through his progressions). There's a reason why  the offense was bad last year and why  its virtually non existence this year for the first  2 quarters. Its 100% him..

That dude Swimm is the type of fan that will watch Hurts throw for 300yds, 3 total TDs, nearly perfect passer rating and complain all week about how Hurts missed someone that was wide open.

Right now, we need the Lions and Vikings to drop a couple of games, and of course we need to keep winning, if we want HFA and the Bye. 

Give us HFA and I feel good about getting to and winning the NFCCG.

Can you list the QB’s you would rather start ahead of Jalen Hurts? 

After 9 games I am starting to trust the team a little more. I don't like Hurts having slow starts all the time, and will never like Siri as head coach, but I now have hope for the D, and the offense has so many weapon, they have some life to them. A lot of stuff to clean up before the playoffs. After going 10-1 and THEN dying.... I still take it 1 game at a time with this team.

I think it´s reasonable to still reflect on last year, because anything can happen... but this team feels very different to last year. Feels like there is more control, they are more balanced on both sides of the ball (and on the sidelines). If there´s a team I´d look at now and be a bit worried about, I´d be looking at Kansas City. They are very lucky to be where they are right now

I really think we had a Super Bowl hangover. The team wasn’t beating anyone comfortably and the D was struggling all year. Hurts pretty much willed us to 10-1 and then the offense fell apart as well.

This year feels different and the D is legit. We’ve shown we can win in a lot of different ways. Still a long way to go though. 

At this point last season, the Eagles had beaten the Cowboys, Chiefs, and Bills back-to-back-to-back (with the bye week in there). They were 10-1 going into December. I was feeling pretty good, actually. The loss to the 49ers was a big dose of reality. They never recovered.

The only difference last year is they peaked in the middle of the season. This year it feels like they are getting better as the season goes on.

I’m not sure they were peaking early last year though. Most of the year bar early the Bills game they stuttered and stumbled. It felt a bit like the Chiefs this year actually and I wonder if that Bills loss for them will be our Niners loss? They aren’t convincing anyone really.

The Chiefs were competitive at least against the Bills. The Eagles did not compete against the 49ers last year. They laid down and never got back up. Let's see how the Chiefs respond now that the pressure is off for a perfect season.

That’s not quite true actually… The Niners game was close for a long time. To the point where I recall seeing us score in the 3rd quarter (pretty sure it was a brotherly shove) and I remember turning to my friends and saying "well we all know how this game ends… Eagles win”. Now sure I was wrong but that game was fairly close until the 4th quarter.
