Posted November 12, 2024Nov 12 We need to give Slay his props for his leadership and being that veteran presence for our future DBs going forward. Yeah I know he's not what he used to be but he's still that lynchpin we needed to groom our young studs. That is all...
November 12, 2024Nov 12 I don't know why some fans hate on Slay. Nor do I understand the talk that makes it seem like he's cooked or something. He's been very consistent for us. Obviously we needed to address the future at the position and doing that while he is still playing is extremely beneficial to the young guys. It doesn't bother me that he's friends with Parsons.

November 12, 2024Nov 12 I was watching this video the other day that had Oz the Mentalist coming in to visit the team. He asked Slay to pick someone in the room and he picked Q instantly. It feels like from everything we've seen and heard through the season that Slay has a great relationship with the young guys in that mentor role. It's awesome to see and having a vet that has been one of the better corners in the league is the best way for them to learn. We also have Rodgers and Ringo who have both played well in limited snaps when Slay has been injured. The vibes seem much better than last season and it's showing in their play

November 12, 2024Nov 12 Slay was under appreciated. He used to travel with the other team’s leading receiver. Now he has Mitchell and DeJean who can both hold their own, he doesn’t need to worry about travelling or having coverage rolled to help out a weaker CB.
November 12, 2024Nov 12 Whilst I completely agree that Slay deserves high praise for his performances and he’s really playing a key role in this exceptional secondary so far… How many snaps did he play on Sunday? I know he was in and out of the game at times?
