That was the very definition of garbage time points. There was about 1 minute left in the game and Washington was down multiple scores.

I disagree. Garbage time points in when the game is completely out of hand. That TD gave Washington a very small chance to recover an onside kick and drive again.

By the way this win officially put me on the train… I’ve booked a hotel in Philly for SB weekend.

It seems to always happen when the Birds play a TNF/SNF, or a MNF. I watch the 1st half, they don't play so well. I go to bed, don't watch the 2nd half, and BOOM they play very well and win the game.

I will check my phone for the Final score when I take my 1 am pee pee. Or my 3 am pee pee. They won?! SWEET. :groovy:

I will keep doing this for us all!!!

Great way to jinx us

Calcaterra is a funny guy. His reaction on the tush push and then the first down signal when he recovered the fumble 😂

I've been saying this for years.

Energy + Effort + Execution can = Excellence.

I don't think this team is there yet. But maybe they can eventually get there.

They are also playing with a certain urgency like they still have something to prove. Which last years team didnt have.

I think Daniels is a smidge overrated. He’s going to improve but come on, he’s getting way too much hype. He dinked and dunked like he usually does. His whole passing game was pretty much Ekeler and a little Ertz. No tight throws into windows, no deep balls, no difficult passes. It was very meh.

This defense is really good though. How many times has scary Terry just killed us and Slay? The guy was ghost and lesser quarterbacks than Daniels looked like all pros against this defense before. Probably for the first time since the the 2000s the Eagles have a defense that is good to great on all three levels.

Yeah, the D is so much better. I couldn’t stand watching Sam Howell nickel and dime the Eagles to death.

I'm still trying to temper expectations.  That Wash team may have just been way over hyped.  A team with a rookie QB and one win against a team with a winning record?  EH, I'll happily put it in the W column and look toward next week.
