The first two rounds were legit.  Tyson barely hit Paul once square and knocked him back about 5 feet.  After the 3rd round, Tyson basically stayed back and fought defensively.  Paul landed a few good shots here and there but nothing that would make a highlight reel.

That said, I think one of two thinks may have happened:

1.  The fight may have been set up - I doubt this happened because they both looked like they were pretty beat up and done after the fight

2.  After the 3rd round, Tyson basically decided to try to let Paul punch himself out since he likely wouldn't be able to punch out Paul over 5 more rounds.

The odds were in Paul's favor and you have to give it to the kid - he's a legit boxer and showed the world that he is a legit boxer tonight.    That said, had Tyson landed ONE clean shot - maybe two - it likely would not have gone the distance.  Tyson only threw 77 punches and only landed 18 punches the entire fight.  At least 12+ of the punches he landed were body shots or skims - meaning he really only hit Jake Paul in the face 6 times.  He only hit him semi solid in the face 1 time out of those 6 times and when he did, he knocked Paul back 5 feet  Like I said, had Tyson gotten at least ONE maybe TWO clean shots on him, he would have put Paul down.

But as we all know - at 58 years old, Tyson - although in great shape - likely has maybe 50% (or less) if the stamina he had in his prime.  Kudos to Mike Tyson for fighting at 58 years old and showing the world that he'll still go into the ring with someone young enough to be his kid - almost grand child.  Mike Tyson, you are a champ and legend.

You have to respect Jake Paul for the career he's had - not just in boxing but by being a self made multi millionaire through social media.  Although he has an "Arsehole" schtick as a personality - it's worked for him and out of everything he could have done to take the easy way to get social media hits - the guy decides to pursue heavy weight boxing as an inexperienced white boy.

He's fought experienced boxers and just beat an all timer boxing legend tonight.  (Even at 58 years old, Tyson could still land a heavy punch).  So kudos to him - very impressive career. (Both in social media and boxing)  The only problem for him now is - now that he's beaten Mike Tyson he can't keep fighting "no-names" or unranked boxers if he wants to continue to be respected as a boxer.

I don’t know what sucked worse the Netflix buffering or the fight itself.

You know Netflix is ish when the rich guy with what I’m assuming is a 10 bigiggabit connection is having issues.

and then to top it off they had ish commentary and mic and ear piece issues the whole night.

The middle two fights were real good, tho.

Yeah those 2 chicks beat the snot out of each other.

Now Evander Holyfield wants to fight Tyson again. Maybe his bank account is getting low.

I was a fan of his back in the day, but I do think he took a few too many punches. Like Tommy Hearns. Speaking of Hearns, his fight with Haggler was epic. I was a big Haggler fan back in the day too.

Holyfield should have retired after Lennox Lewis kicked his ass twice (the decision of draw in the first fight remains the most ridiculous judging robbery I've seen in a ring).

Even though he went on beyond that, he definitely definitely should have retired when he got beat by James Toney.
