How does this stack up compared to the Gang Green Defense of the Ryan/Carson era(s)?

I kinda don't believe the Lions will loose twice...and we still need to win out

well the playoffs is an entirely new season, and the only NFC team more cursed than us is the Lions

Other than being caught out of position on that early run, he didn't do much wrong in the game. He is becoming an extremely valuable player for this team

Im making fun of the people that were whining because he wasn't an all pro in his fist year even though he was drafted as a project.

Now imagine if Huff could just return to his 2023 dominance...  Here's hoping he does before the playoffs begin.

Nolan Smith was the player I was most intrigued with when the Eagles took him, because of the speed and the maturity. I got a little worried during his first year, but I wasn’t ready to try and label him yet. Still not ready to label him anything, but I really am starting to like what I am seeing from the player especially his play against the run.

This defense might not be as stacked as the 91 defense but may be just as effective because its complemented by an offense that dominates the time of possesion.

I'm still shocked and surprised at how good they have become this season. Wooo Hooooooo! :groovy:

And I was jabbing the "hurts 2nd yr is really his first yr" sentiment. Sarcasm fail 😭😭

And it’s been the whole defense too. Not just the pass rush or the secondary. The whole defense plays as a unit and helps each other out.

Yup. It's been all 3 lines of the Defense....DLine, LBs, and Secondary. Amazing turn around from last season.

Those Goergia boys are right at the heart of this successful defence. They just needed the right guy to unlock it.

Yeah I mean Smith, Carter and Davis have definitely all improved. But I mean what an impact Baun has made.

Going into this week the Eagles were tied with the Broncos and Chargers for the lowest points per game per game allowed at 17.6.  After Thursday’s 34-27 game between the Broncos and Chargers, the Eagles have sole possession of the lowest ppg.  The Vikings are now in second at 18.0.  Shutting down the Commies on Sunday will almost surely extend their lead.
