That 4th down play call was not worth the risk of giving Stafford a chance.

You need a QB who can throw consistently to do that. Hurts is lost. 

See that final drive right there says a lot about how the coaches feel about Jalen. Runs and runs, barely any throws and no deep shots. Surely with 7 seconds left you go for a Hail Mary? That play will take at least 5-6 seconds to play out… But that was never even on the cards.

Defense needs to keep this up.

What’s the value of that play, he breaks it for a TD? Unlikely. He needed a 10-13 yard pass and then let Jake try for the FG. I like Hurts but those runs have little upside and a lot of downside, especially with him getting hurt.

There are things to criticize Hurts for, but that wasn’t it. He isn’t calling the plays. 

Ok, now the Eagles will wear them down. Look for the Rams to start getting gashed by the running game a little before the half way point of the 3rd quarter.

They don’t trust him to throw it! They can’t do because right at the end there they had a chance to throw it (and trust Hurts not to make a bad decision) and they didn’t. They are right not to trust him but that’s a real issue.

Outside of those 1st two drives, the D has been playing well.  Offense is scoring but needs to get more TD's.  

Defense bailed out the dumbest offensive play call of the year.

What they needed to do was hit AJ on a slant, then call the timeout to try the long field goal. 

Hurts needs to get the confidence to the point he can audible out of those bonehead playcalls

And let’s not overlook he does have a bit of a history of fumbling the ball. The chances of him scrambling enough for a FG attempt on that play seem very slim. I mean very very. Better to go with a pass play and if that breaks down he might have more room to run.

I’m not convinced that wasn’t Hurts calling that run himself. I could be wrong, but either way, it needs to be retired along with the WR screen. It’s going to be picked off for a pick-6 at some point. 
Both plays have little upside and a lot of downside.

Hurts is allowed to audible and change the play. Not sure if he did those times though. Stupid decision if either happened
