What they needed to do was hit AJ on a slant, then call the timeout to try the long field goal.

100% bud! That’s the obvious play and yet it’s one they barely run.

Hurts needs to get the confidence to the point he can audible out of those bonehead playcalls

I have hunch he made the call. That or coaches don't trust him.

Either is very telling about the QB in that situation.

These designed Hurts runs reek of Sirianni

We need to come out and score a TD on this first drive after the half.

Hurts just doesn't like to throw to the middle of the field. It seems really rare when he does it.

They basically just wasted that last attempt with those runs. Any other team would have been throwing but they don’t trust Jalen to get it done with his arm.

That is just nonsense and you have no basis to say that, you are another moron who has no clue

Yeah it is really rare but I mean I just feel like it is an unstoppable play. A quick slant to AJ negates any pass rush, it gets the ball to a big bodied WR who can use his body to shield and that WR has the ability with the ball in his hands to break a big play. Someone needs to take Hurts to one side and tell him that’s a gimme play.

Some of you need to realize this isn't Madden and you can't run the same play over and over.

See that final drive right there says a lot about how the coaches feel about Jalen. Runs and runs, barely any throws and no deep shots. Surely with 7 seconds left you go for a Hail Mary? That play will take at least 5-6 seconds to play out… But that was never even on the cards.

I don't get it...they want to keep forcing him to run ala the Hurts of 2022 but he is no longer that....I am not saying he is past his prime but he is not that same QB from that year....he cannot consistently get yards that way anymore.....its the dumbest thing ever and I cringe anytime he attempts to do it....he looks so lost and slow....

There has to be a few people with clone accounts, it is impossible for there to be this many stupid and ignorant people in one place

Forum: run the ball. We just need to keep feeding Saquon. This coaching team doesn’t have a clue.
Eagles: keep calling run plays.
Forum: I can’t believe they keep running the ball. Why aren’t they calling more pass plays. AJ isn’t being called enough. This coaching team doesn’t have a clue.

Other teams would have been throwing. Thats pretty obvious.

Does anyone know if Elliott is hurt or something?

Why weren't we trying to get into field goal range on 4th and long?

I was surprised by the Hurts run.  Were we just trying to run the clock out?

Posters seem to forget all the Mona Lisa half time finishes in the Andy Reid days although not great... I'll take it

My all-time Super Tecmo Bowl record begs to differ. 😉

TOUCHDOWN QB EAGLES!

I’m not sure I’d say he’s no longer that. I think perhaps he’s doing a better job of protecting himself so he goes down a bit sooner and misses those plays where he broke tackles. But yeah I mean those QB draws are just not a good idea most of the time and certainly not in that spot.

When combining his ability to get open and his rac, Brown is the best WR in the game and Hurts always has him as 1st option.

Somehow Hurts see Brown,  is accurate and powerful with his throws.  But he is a 1 read QB.  It's amazing he can't find his 2nd or 3rd options in his progressions.

Maybe it's his lack of height.  He can't see over the linemen that are 2-4 inches taller than he is.  Or he can't read a defense and see open receivers.  Or both.

Our passing game is so limited.  And what happened to the men in motion?  Seems like Zellen has dumbed down the offense for Hurts.

Why can’t I just keep running the same crossing route over and over and throw it to the slot guy every play? 😂

I don't see how this is okay. The offense has too much talent for it to be handicapped  by  the QB position. The Eagles should have a prolific Air attack  but they don't.

He’s kicked 2 FGs and an XP. I don’t think it was a case of not trying to get in to long FG range. I think they tried but the momentum stalled and then they tried to manage the clock. They did a bad job in the end but they were caught in two minds.

If they were trying to burn the clock they wouldn’t have left 2 seconds on the clock.

Dean is having himself a nice game tonight.

That 4th down play call was not worth the risk of giving Stafford a chance.

He’s been good since the bye to be fair. Much more consistent.
