Posted November 25, 2024Nov 25 Not good. We really need him. I'd imagine Tarron Jackson will be called up from the practice squad and fill in for him.
November 25, 2024Nov 25 Oh no. I don't want his career to end this way. One of the best ever to put on a Eagles uniform. Just a great guy. He deserves better.
November 25, 2024Nov 25 This is a tough one to swallow even before you add the sentimental part of it. He was playing at such a high level and the defense isn't going to have the same ceiling without him. I don't think I've been this down about an injury since Brandon Brooks.

Not only is BG such a great guy who is one of the leaders on this team but he was also playing at a high level especially yesterday. He doesn’t deserve for his career to end this way. On the replacements… Lawson and Houston? I mean the options aren’t great but they’ve got to make moves because we are already without Huff (not that that’s a huge biggie).

I also think the Eagles should look at defensive tackles. On the basis that Williams/Carter can both slide outside on occasion.

November 25, 2024Nov 25 Anyone else find Shrager an irritating weasel? I find him annoying generally but talking about the Turpin play yesterday as the best move ever? Let’s ignore and forget the Barkley hurdle then yeah?
November 25, 2024Nov 25 I would like to see Booker get some reps at DE. He moves well and isn't getting in the rotation at DT

November 25, 2024Nov 25 Terrible news for BG. He's been having a fantastic year, which is crazy considering his age. He doesn't deserve to go out like this...he could very well be back next year, but we'll see. Did Sweat return to the game last night after he tweaked what appeared to be his ankle? I was so blinded by Barkey that I can't remember if I saw Sweat on the field after he was being checked out.

November 25, 2024Nov 25 NFL players who have triceps tendon surgery typically miss 165 days from football on average, but can take anywhere from 49–318 days to return. Most players are able to return to professional play. The recovery time for a torn triceps tendon depends on the severity of the injury and the complexity of the surgery. A successful recovery usually takes 4–6 months, but it can be a long and difficult process.
November 25, 2024Nov 25 Doubtful. He's out at least 4 months, especially if it requires surgery. If it's a partial tear, he'd be out like 8 weeks, which still would put him out for the season and playoffs. Maybe he could play in the SB if he miraculously heals quick

November 25, 2024Nov 25 The biggest issue with the injury is not only was Brandon our most consistent rusher. But the most versatile too. BG can rush from inside or outside. Going to miss him.

November 25, 2024Nov 25 I saw him on the sideline getting checked out by the team doctor, but I didn't realize the severity of the injury. This is a gut punch. BG is great guy and having a good season. I hope this team can win it all and get him a second ring.
