BG was balling out last night. Sad that he can't finish the season but he went out fighting and playing hard. Legend.

Wishing a full speedy recovery.

I know he is UFA after the season. It sounds like he has plenty left in the tank.

 

I don't bring any one new in here to replace him. Next man up should be the mentality. It feels like it takes some time to get acclimated to Fangio's D/Scheme, so, I'm no sure bringing a street replacement in is beneficial. Especially since it's already week 12/13.

Can someone from the PS get brought up, someone who has been around since July/August? IMO, that's a better plan.

Tarron Jackson will be brought up from the practice squad.  I don't think they're going to find anyone on the street better than him.

He is on the Brandon Graham show on WIP now. What a positive guy. He should be a motivational speaker. Not sure he closed the door on retiring either.

He had been talking about the possibility of playing beyond this year even before the injury.  With how well this team is playing (and how well he was playing this year), I can certainly see him wanting to come back for another run and not go out this way.  

He may not get on the field again this season but he will still have a huge influence overall.  You know he'll be coaching guys up and doing whatever he needs to do to get them motivated and ready.  

Don't know if this is true. But this can't be the solution.

They may (and should) add another piece, but who are truly viable options that don't also stink at this point? Justin Houston and JPP? Neither are super impressive at this point.

I mean if he is active and takes away the couple snaps huff might have he surely has to produce more even at 50-75% right?

Maybe. Huff only had 12 snaps last game so if he's really that horrible, a hobbled BG might be an improvement for those limited snaps. Amazing that Huff fell off a cliff so bad this year in this D. He had a good year for the Jets the year prior.
