Tell me what other Eagles quarterback has ever done that. I’ll wait. Not sure. McNabb maybe? But then again this is the most stacked Eagles offense history and yet somehow the passin offense is in the bottom 5 of the NFL. Who's fault is that?

This argument might work if maybe they were in the top 10 or even 15. It might also work if the team had no decent WR's. The offense is more focused on the running game cause it has no choice but to focus on the running game cause of the limitations at QB. You don't invest smith and AJ brown at the WR position and spend a pick to bring in Dotson. Just to have a bottom 5 passing attack.

Well TBH I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t concerned some as I do think we’ll need both phases of the offense firing when we go up against teams like Detroit, KC, or Buffalo. So hopefully they get that sorted out.

That used to be something Philly fans wanted and loved. yes the passing game has to be better and there will be games or series where they will have to rely more on the pass. But tough defense and running the football with minimal passing used to be Eagles fans wet dream we wanted for decades. Now we have it, and complain there's not enough passing. If it works and leads to wins and they can win in the playoffs, so be it. The good news is, they have two 1,000 yard receivers and are capable of having success in the passing game when needed. But why wouldn't you rely on the best RB in the league when you have him?

Who's fault is that? So McNabb has never done it and the only other one that ever has was Cunningham. I’ll ask another question. Which running back that has played with Jalen Hurts has put up better numbers without him? On a side note Goedert, Brown, and Smith have all missed multiple games due to injuries this season so it’s pretty difficult to be prolific when the full complement of players are rarely together. Let’s not forget Barkley is having an all time career season something (I’ll give you a hint to my question) he’s never done before.

Why do we throw less than say ... the bengals? Probably because we are usually ahead in the 4th quarter and are 10-3 and have had Kenny Pickett handing the ball off with the 2nd team offense for almost 3 entire 4th quarters. Most stacked offense in Eagles' history? I mean, realistically, how high do you personally rank Jalen? You may have an argument if you believe he's one of the best QBs in the NFL, but we've had teams with plenty of weapons. Cunningham never had a line, but he had Quick, Carter, Keith Jackson, Byars. McNabb had DJax, Maclin, Celek (76-971-8), Avant, McCoy, Westbrook, Weaver (1st team all pro) and Vick as a backup in 2009. I'm a fan of Goedert, but people keep acting like he's had more accolades than he really has. So please explain how this is the most stacked Eagles offense in history. Please start with the QB --- I want to see this ...

Possibly one of the best Eagles run offenses ever, but definitely not as a total package

Well he’s definitely anti the quarterback and he’s under the belief that the quarterback is holding this team back. After all he’s only a "running back playing quarterback.”

I'm stating he cant take advantage of a stacked Eagles offense.. Obviously statistically there have been better teams. But talent wise I think this team is better than the others. Unfortunately the true potential of the offense is gated by the QB. I don't even know why you are stilling trying to argue this when we have seen it first hand in the games consistently.

The Eagles are a dominant team and have won in a lot of different ways. Barkley has been incredible but there have been games where he has either been shut down or put up his big numbers after Hurts and the D have the game in hand. Is Hurts perfect? No. But he has been missing a combination of his best skill players and key lineman for a substantial amount of time. And he hasn’t had to throw in the 4th quarter because the Eagles are usually in the lead. He’s a top 10 QB and possibly a top 5. He just wants to win. Be grateful we have him.

We target AJ the most in our passing game with Smith the second most. Both guys have missed multiple games already this season. Our 3rd best target, Goedert, has had 1 stint on IR and possibly getting another. Despite all that, we are winning games. Our QB hasn't had to throw as much as Burrow to win games and our team has 15 more rushing TDs than the bengals. Hurts has 14 passing TDs on the season. I would gladly trade those 14 passing TDs for 15 (or more) additional team rushing TDs. I don't even have to argue. I enjoy winning over QB passing stats.

Bit in bold is all that really matters, isn't it. I could care less if Mary Poppins was under centre (ok, shotgun obviously 😁) as long as the team is winning. Honestly, I think a lot of the noise around Hurts is because of the money sunk into him, and I do understand that. But be honest, who's turning down that sort of dosh, it's hardly his fault the NFL throws money at Qbs 🤷♂️. I know people are saying well what happens when the Eagles come up against a team that stops the run. Fine. But maybe they don't. The team is rolling. Really think the other teams have had enough of both lines just pounding them all game by the end. Must be a truly miserable experience getting thrown around. The Eagles and us fans have had some heartbreakers over the years, let's enjoy this for what it is. What i do know is you dont change a winning formula for the sake of it. One week at a time.

You probably said the same thing last year when they fooled everyone with that winning streak while ignoring the concerns others had around the team.

I hate the guy more than anyone, but you are full of crap if you would not switch QBs with the Rams, Lions, Vikings, Bucs, 49ers, Packers, or Cowboys if Dak wasn't hurt. Any of them would be doing a massive amount more with all the riches Hurts has. He is the problem. He isn't even top 5 in the NFC let alone the league.

It's weird how as bad as Hurts has been that after 13 games, he has the 7th best passer rating in the NFL among starting QBs. FYI, that does not include rushing stats.

When Brown is throwing his helmet there are issues and it's on him.

He's 8th in completion percentage. He's 1st in CPOE. He's 15th in average yards per attempt. He's 24th in average target separation and 14th in tight window throw percentage. He has the 10th lowest INT percentage and 11th best TD percentage (yes passing). The team is 7th in the NFL in total yards per game and 8th in scoring. Finally, he averages 200 yards per game passing, not 100. It's funny ... go back to September and all the Hurts critics were up in arms because he had 7 turnovers in 4 games and complained that those big mistakes would prevent this team from winning. So he has done a great job protecting the ball in the next nine games (all wins) and the same people are mad because he's not forcing bad passes or taking chances.
