From reports he suffered a "potentially serious" knee injury during the offensive scout team period.  That just sucks. He's one hell of an athlete and becoming a great blocking weapon as a FB and a damn good ST player. Next year I could've seen him as a great depth LB but if it's serious, he's not going to be ready until after the season starts next year.

 

I still like our depth at LB. But I don't know if we have anybody else we can line up at FB. If we do use a FB, it will probably be a TE. There may still be options available. We could elevate Uzomah or Jenkins from the PS to the active roster and sign a FB to the PS to take that spot. 

We'll probably have to wait until tomorrow to get the full details on the severity of the injury. 

I  think as a FB he was really able to use his athleticism to get ahead and block ahead. I’m not sure there’s anyone else on the roster right now who we could use in that role? So it’s definitely a blow and is going to somewhat limit the playbook even if just a little.

I think we should scout for a FB. At least put him on the practice roster. very valuable in this offense

I mean that player is surely going to contribute more than say Ainias Smith!

Oh no. The season is over

He was coming on as a ST role player and occasional FB. Wish him a full recovery.

This may seem like it’s not a big deal, but his play at FB has been instrumental in the running game this year. 

Kind of sucks. He was becoming a real fan favorite.
