December 3, 2024Dec 3 I don’t have a lot of confidence in Bradbury considering the last time we saw him, and other than salary I’m not sure why he’s even on the team. I believe he still might be on IR.

I’d sooner see Brown or McCollum play if someone is needed at S or Rodgers, Ringo, or Ricks if someone is needed at CB.
December 4, 2024Dec 4 I think people are trying too hard to find the new kicking boy. He's this year's Gainwell. He's had a couple bad plays and everybody pounces on those. He's played 264 defensive snaps this year, not just those 3 or 4. He has allowed 11 receptions on 22 targets (1TD) for a passer rating against of 79.5. He has 1 missed tackle this year. He has also played an additional 128 snaps on ST. Having him around was and is valuable for DeJean as he grows as a professional. It's obvious to pretty much everybody that DeJean has won the starting nickel job. We are all happy about that and impressed with the job he is doing. I just don't really understand why everybody is exaggerating Maddox' bad plays. First, all the jokes were: "He'll get hurt before he even gets to the warmups ..." Now that he's stayed healthy through 12 games, people need something else to make a big deal about. Sheesh ...

December 4, 2024Dec 4 Eagles defense starts with a huge three and out… nope the drive continues thanks to Maddox holding his guy. Maddox looks cooked out there. The defense as a whole has looked remarkably better with him out of the lineup. Frankly if he were such a great backup people wouldn’t be looking for Bradbury. 😂
December 4, 2024Dec 4 The last i heard is that he was working with the Eagles younger CBs as a trainer...I am not sure that he will ever come back as a player..? But he must have helped as a trainer...because our Defense is #1!!!!!!!

December 4, 2024Dec 4 I'm very glad his status is -- 'not anywhere near the playing field on game day'.
December 4, 2024Dec 4 Maddox does not pass the eye test. Lost a step. And is always trailing a play when in coverage. Rather have a younger guy in there. He can coach the youngens from the sideline.

Maybe Rodgers can. I’d choose him over Maddox off the bench.

December 11, 2024Dec 11 Maddox filled in for CJGJ for 11 snaps Sunday, was targeted one time and allowed 0 receptions, bringing his season totals to: 275 snaps, 23 targets, 11 receptions allowed (47.8%), allowing a 76.2 passer rating when targeted. He's not the liability that some are making him out to be.

He's not the liability that some are making him out to be. He played pretty well when needed on defense in the Panthers game and also contributed on special teams. As bad as Bradberry was last year, they could really use him if he is healthy. The secondary is starting to become a little banged up and his versatility could be really valuable to come in and play some spot minutes.
