Hmmm...

Sure sounds like an appeal to self-authority to me.

Now when did I mention my background?  Before or after?  Tell me the truth if you can?

Yeah because you thought you had one over on him and it blew up in your face when you found out he was a doctor.

You really have no concept of time do you?

He made it clear all over the thread that he was an MD.  And that was before he dropped the westernized nations comparison which is flawed statistically.

When it comes to training...

Pediatrician > pet food supplement guy

And here we go with ad hominem.

You pulled the 'better trained" card before I laid out the MD card buddy.

I agree with this, though I would not want to see BMI used as the barometer. It's very misleading for people who have relatively low body fat % but high muscle weight.

Agreed. Use body fat percentage. It’s not that hard.

With that said, it is an EXTREMELY small percentage of people who are such physical specimens that they are carrying 25+ extra pounds of muscle and would classify as obese in the BMI even though they’re built like Takeo Spikes and not Chris Farley. And half of those people are juiced to the gills and probably SHOULD be paying more.

So the discussions about your practice that you and your group owned it was what?

That happened before I mentioned the training.

It's 10 pm on a Tuesday and that pathetic little tool decides to jump right in the middle of someone else's debate and tries to pick a fight.

This really is all he has.

That's basically what I laid out above -- basic government run health care for all, and the wealthy can opt into more exclusive care. The issue is, the more people who opt into better care (that they pay for), the more politicians like Bernie and AOC will cry that it is unfair (regardless of the fact that people are paying for it). So it likely fails as they demand all Americans get access to all care without paying. People will need to accept different standards of care.

Exactly the model in Sweden.  Probably a somewhat higher level of care for the minimum than you are imagining and also more people opting for additional care options (quite a few companies will offer this as a taxed benefit as well).  Works ok and there is minimal beetching from the left at least for now.

Is it time to eat the rich yet?

Brought up by Vikas because he knows I'm a doctor. You're the one who tried to turn it into some kind of dick measuring contest by declaring yourself "better trained" then clutched your pearls when I said I was an MD.

Which btw I also took to mean you had some kind of epidemiology background, not researching Fing dog supplements

Do you feel better now?

Actually, what you call pearl clutching, most call terrible statics knowledge.

I only commented on what you put on full display.  And your response was but you know it can't be this because I went to medical school.

Go ahead, join wgb in attacking me personally without having a clue as to what I did and what it takes to formulate, validate, test, and bring an animal or human supplement to market.

Oh, so you have never mentioned you were a pediatrician or that your wife was also an MD (ob/gynecologist iirc)?

Finally, a f***ing doctor. I'm going to appeal to authority and ask for the solution here, doctor.

We all bring up our occupation from time to time. I have never once seen him try to throw his expertise around to prove a point (even in this thread).

This is the exact behavior that keeps you out of the circle jerk.

Saying you had better training than him isn't a personal attack though. Neither is calling me a liar. Thanks for clarifiying.

Good, sound, logical thinking Paul
