Because our 3rd down defense absolutely blows today. This feels like the old "sticks defense”.

I’m totally cool with blaming this loss nearly entirely on Hurts. It was a poorly played game and poorly coached, but in the end Hurt’s miscues on that last possession cost us the game. 

For anyone expecting holding to be called in the end zone there...you're fooling yourself.

Elliott is 26-42 all-time on kicks over 50 yards, with a long of 61.  Sirianni opted not to use him in the one situation where it actually made sense.
