I´ve never known such weird tension and mood music around a team that does such a lot of winning. Strange vibes.

You sang the praises ad nauseum for Arcega-Whiteside.

Your opinions are irrelevant

I see both sides. If I were a top tier WR I would want to contribute. It goes beyond the money. Having SB on your team is like playing with Allen Iverson. In SB's case it's not really his fault he's a ball hog, that's just the way the plays are being drawn up, but this team is way too talented to keep feeding the ball to just one guy. AJ should get the ball, Dallas should get the ball, and Smith should get the ball. We should have defenses scratching their heads without how they're going to defend all the options we have.

On the flip side, we're winning just the way things are, and getting to (and winning) the Super Bowl should be more important than any individual stats.

So here’s the thing. Brown is still getting fed. He has 836 yards receiving over 10 games and that’s including when he got knocked out early against the Jags. Taken over a season that would be 1421 yards. Right in line with his career bests. He didn’t have 1,100 yards before Hurts.

Brown is getting his share. He needs to stop acting like a typical diva receiver and get back to helping the team win. BG really didn’t help the situation.

Article on ESPN now about BG apologizing for being a knucklehead.

Damage control.  I'm sure he was instructed to roll back on those comments but that doesn't change anything now - anyone with half a brain cell knows there is a rift growing between those 2.  You can't put the toothpaste back in the tube.

I kinda feel for AJ. Last season ended terribly and everyone wanted redemption this year. Well most of them had a chance to...except for AJ. He got injured right away and when he got back Barkley has already taken over the offense.

There were several players that went to Sirianni after the 2-2 start and lobbied to run the ball more.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/42346987/philadelphia-eagles-offensive-line-meeting-turned-season-saquon-barkley-week-11

So now they are running the ball more ... and they are winning.

Strange that this is surfacing when the team just rattled off 9 straight wins.  You might expect this if they lost 9 straight.  Only in Philly.

He didn’t initially, but there’s video showing him congratulating Calcaterra a few seconds later. I had to look for it because I thought it was odd/kind of effed up, too.

To be fair he was wide open on that play too

he was wide open on smiths TD as well

he was wide open a lot

I don’t blame him being frustrated. But not celebrating a TD is bad, glad I was wrong and he did congratulate GC

I hope AJ chases Hurts around the sideline vs the Steelers

Thing is, this is a fan base that remembers the TO/McNabb rift from 20 years ago.  This is not that situation.  Both players are under contract for mega bucks.  A good game for AJ will quiet a lot of the critics.

Terrell and Donovan, both of you stfu. No one wants to relive your famous beef with each other.

BG, thank you for the Superbowl. But you, also, can stfu.

Let Jalen and AJ handle it.

There's never a benefit when a third party get involved about some others problem

Yeah I caught this on WIP the other day and was concerned by it. We suspected they’d had a falling out last year and it did the locker room no good (or so it seemed). Now BG has confirmed that and it feels like that tension is starting to build again. If they don’t get this fixed soon this could derail the season and that would be such a shame given the opportunity this team has.

See I think AJ should handle things better and not be so focal to the media but he’s right in that he’s saying. There will be times where either this team needs to throw the ball more or throw more consistently in games to get the W. Right now I don’t think we’d win if that needed to be the case and that needs to be fixed quickly. AJ knows with his ability he can take games over and he can help us win games. I don’t think he’s being a diva he just knows he can (and should) be getting more opportunities. We won on Sunday so it is easy to say "well it worked” but with a good passing day it could have been a very comfortable win.

All he did was answer a couple questions honestly and he speaks the truth:

what needs work?  Passing game

how frustrating is it as a wr to not be in a rhythm in the passing game? Very

how much do you talk to Jalen on the sideline? Not a lot

he literally didn’t say a single word about Jalen’s ability, execution, any rift between them, and he didn’t once offer up Jalen’s name in any of his comments.  He didn’t once say it was about him needing or wanting targets or his share or his contribution, etc.

once again the media cooks up something and BG got roped into it because he’s got a big mouth and he’s working towards his radio career so he had to spout off about it.   Instant regret in his part to speak about something which he knows little about.

the whole thing is dumb and shouldn’t even be an issue as far as any relationship drama.  Now, to be real, the passing game needs work.  X’s and O’s and on field decision making needs to be better as a whole.  Let’s talk about that instead.

FWIW, he didn't say, "Passing game." He said, "passing."

Sorry but I disagree. BG may have gotten roped in but he said what he said and he’s been in the locker room to see it. There’s a rift between Jalen and AJ that’s got the potential to derail things. It was evident there was an issue last year and that tension is still there now.

AJ may not have named Jalen and he may not have directly said it was his fault but he may as well have done. He’s reacting on the sideline, his visibly frustrated and then in an interview at his locker he says passing is the issue. We can try and ignore that if we want but that’s an issue.

FWIW AJ isn’t wrong. Jalen hasn’t been good at throwing the ball and things need to change and improve. But it was clear last year that this team fell apart because they weren’t all united and now we have early signs of that happening again.

Maybe he's jealous of Saquon getting all the attention.

I think we all agree the passing game has been abysmal and non existent for the most part.  I think AJ is talking about that as a whole, I do not think he targeted Jalen with his comments and I don’t think there’s a problem between them….there may be now though 😂

BG is there but that doesn’t mean he’s talking to those guys every day.  He’s in different team meetings and now in the training room. He’s not with those two guys all day, and neither are any of us so I’m just speculating but until I hear AJ call out Jalen by name and say there’s something to it, I’m not buying any of it.
