It’s almost a guaranteed extra 15 yards if you slide late. It’s a terrible rule.

I know it will never happen, but with these athletic QBs in the league now starting to take advantage of the rules with late slides, they need to just do away with the qb slide.  If he runs the ball, he should be viewed the same as a RB.
