Might have been one of the most dominating defensive performances I’ve seen in a very long time.

They still put up 42 points so not sure what you were watching..

Steelers are a bunch of dirt bags.

We have been starving for a real D for sooooo long. Now that it's here, Ican't believe what I am seeing half the time.

They're not impressive on the defensive side of the ball.  Usually that doesn't translate well in the playoffs.

Doesn't help that mire than half their defense is on IR and probably added 3 more today. That probably did them in they wont be able to stop anyone.

This squad on defense the same time last year was horrid. Tremendous turnaround in just one year.

Partially the squad. Partially a much better coach.

So many young players though. It usually takes much longer for these type of players to jell.

And time for the players to finally start to thrive in the system. I thought it wouldn't come together like this until next year. It normally takes 2 offseasons for a defense to really hit it's stride. Credit to Fangio and the players for executing  and to Howie for nailing a bunch of picks/FA's to have it come together so quickly

Great win, but Eagles still leaving a bit of meat on the bone for my liking.

Starting to get worried about this Cooper Dejean punt returns, not good for his long term health, hope this doesn't turn into another Jason Sehorn type situation one day...

Thing I found most impressive was that final drive.  Eagles made the Steelers pay for punting.  Over 10 minutes left in the game and the Eagles never gave the ball back to Pittsburgh after that.

That was a killer drive. They were inside their own 5 at the start and just marched down the field. They could have scored again if they wanted to. It was a statement drive.

Hope they can keep stringing together drives like they did today.

It must completely demoralise the opposition.

Wonderful.

The Steelers got two turnovers a muffed punt and came away with three points to include getting the ball inside the 12 yard line. The Eagles got a fumble recovery and drove the ball downfield and scored a TD. The second half was just owned by the Eagles. They pretty much crushed a serious SB contender. They have disposed of the Ravens, Rams, Commanders, and Steelers mostly with ease. It’s time to start considering this team as a serious SB contender.

I don’t know how this team can’t be considered a SB contender? They were before winning ugly last week against Carolina. They have beaten the Ravens (in Baltimore) by shutting down their offense. They went in to LA (a tough cross country trip) and handled the Rams who have looked really good after a bad start to the year. They beat the Packers in Brazil who right now are what 10-4? They beat down on the Bengals who have arguably the best QB and WR in the NFL this year. And they just put up 27 points on the Steelers when it would have been 30+ if they needed points on that final drive.

Yeah and its crazy we are doing this without Reddick and his replacement Huff and now BG. The youngsters have really steppd up.

Nolan Smith people thought was a bust after last season. He’s looking like a legit starter right now. Even Jalyx Hunt is giving them valuable reps.

Quite the turnaround for this DL that was rightly a concern the first 4 weeks.

Sweat has come one lately as well. Maybe the outside guys are getting more chances thanks to Carter getting so much attention in the middle. Wilson couldn’t even step up in the pocket for much of the game. A normal physical run team like the Steelers with a ground and pound back like Harris sure did run a lot of toss plays. It’s like they wanted no part of the interior of the Eagles DL.

I was pretty critical of Sweat, especially after how he performed last season. I wasn't sure he would fit into Fangio's scheme but he has played pretty well
