They had a slight hiccup against the Panthers and still won buy more than the freaking chiefs and people lost their minds like it was all over

It’s the market and us fans that demand so much from players like hurts. There is a multitude of other teams where hurts could immediately step in as a starter and receive nothing but praise

The sad thing is - there are a number of posters on this board who seem to hate Hurts more than they love the Eagles. 

Does he deserve criticism at times? Absolutely. But some on this board act like he is Daniel Jones and ignore what he has done. He just shredded one of the best defenders in the league.

It’s not just this board. It’s like the area has gone crazy. Quarterbacks just grow on trees and anyone can do it. The irony of this game and the last one is no matter how you look at it the same things happened. Jalen Hurts scored 3 touchdowns and the Eagles won. When did stats become more meaningful than winning?

When fantasy became such a huge deal? Almost as big as the game itself.

Why I stopped playing FF to begin with. Too many convoluted rooting decisions. Funny thing is I’m sure Hurts 6 tds in the past two games probably got someone some good fantasy points if they played him.

Yeah, many of us hate him. I hated Simmons but didn't root against him or the 76ers.

People on here want to say you can't criticize or dislike him and still love the team or if he does well in a game we'll be pissed. It's BS.

I don’t think people are saying that though? I think most are balanced but unfortunately there are some extreme Hurts haters who then force Hurts defenders to perhaps go to the extreme to defend him.

To an extent I get some of the frustration towards Jalen’s game, but to hate Jalen is just stupid. To compare Jalen to a soft loser like Ben Simmons is stupid. Simply put if you hate Jalen then you hate winning. You want empty quarterback numbers and a lot of losing. Some of these guys should just be a man and admit it.

Oh absolutely some of the frustrations are absolutely valid and fair. He was struggling in the pass game and that needed to be sorted. Yesterday he answered a lot of those questions and now he needs to keep going.

It’s hard to say he was struggling, because he wasn’t turning the ball over and he was completing a lot of his passes. He was holding the ball too long though and taking some sacks. He was and is still winning though. It’s not like he was 3 for 13 out there. That’s why people were coming across a little clueless. Jalen was completing his passes. He’s also been very efficient throwing the ball deep, but people are acting like he can’t complete a forward pass. It’s ridiculous.

The slow starts weren’t helping either. And I’m not sure he was completing a lot of passes? But his completion % was pretty good.

I don’t think he’s had a game under 60% during the run. Funny thing is he had the same output in this game as he had against the Panthers. Two passing tds and a rushing td.

Nobody is comparing their games. It's possible to not like a player and still support the team and not be upset if they play well. 

He was very good yesterday.  A breath of fresh air.  If he plays efficiently like this, we are in the hunt.

He’s top 6 in Quarterback rating and QBR, has 32 total touchdowns. Has turned the ball over like 2 in the past 8 games and has won 10 straight with various injuries to his line and skill players. Imagine when (if??) he loses a game this year.

The guy can be perfect and the haters won’t stop hating him. They just shut up until they can come out and freely hate again. This guy under center is breaking franchise records yet they’re fawning over backups and bums.

This isn't true for some of those that have been in defense, honestly. For some, any criticism (even if praise is included) still isn't good enough and yes, it goes both ways.
