I just did a quick Google to see if he'd made any comments on it since the win (didn't find any), but I found a Jets message board post about it with the following Tweet (or whatever Tweets are called now).

That's rough. He was the anchor pass rusher in getting us to SB 57, which we very likely win if not for the trash field. Now, that loss might be a good thing in the end, but that's really harsh. He just wanted to get a decent contract while he could when the Cards nearly screwed him over. I do think he should have handled it better but yeah.
