He's an awful signing in the sense that Howie spent capital on him when he knows Hurts is a one read QB anyway. 

He’ll be traded off for a 5th or sixth rounder next season, and all of sudden he’ll be productive for whichever team picks him up. 

It’s sad that losing Hurrs affects this team so much. He’s not even that great if a qb. But he’s a million times better than Pickett and him being in there causes matchup issues for defenses.

Normally that's true.  When Pickett isn't starting.  Hopefully that continues.

Thats some genius play calling, 3 pass plays in a row, zero of them down field then 3 straight runs with extra TEs on the field.

With Hurts playing, yeah. Last week we got 4 FGs after the 1st quarter.

Maybe the defense..but the offense with pickett I have no hope for after seeing these few possessions.
