January 2Jan 2 I’d be willing to bet the Vegas dude had PTSD but was "manning up,” instead of getting help.
January 2Jan 2 One thing we all know, Dems vote to fund the VA and Maga votes to cut the VA. If he had PTSD maybe he was denied treatment thanks to his funds being cut. Project 2025 proposes making it harder for veterans to obtain disability benefits by reducing the number of medical conditions that service members can claim to qualify for disabled status.

As much sheet Trump has said about military members, the Mission Act was a good bill, I personally experienced the decrease in wait times and ease in getting community care, after it was passed. The VA under Biden has actually cut back on community care access, which I have also experienced. I was able to get community care to rehab both knee replacements at a place 5 minutes from my house. I had to make the drive to the VA last June to rehab my shoulder replacement. I’m right on the 30 minute cutoff for drive time. Anyway, I doubt trump will cut VA benefits, and even if he wanted too, most in congress will not. They haven’t even moved forward to close the dozen or so VA facilities and clinics that were put on the cutting block under the Mission Act.
