    Rams would have to lose 2day for that to happen. We'd play 3 seed and 4 would play det/min. I kinda think loser of that game would beat the 4 seed but nothing is a given.

    no the rams have to win to remain #3 seed; if they lose it goes to tampa

    But at the moment looking like tampa will get 3 seed and thus be our 2nd rd opponent if both teams win

    14-3 for the 2nd Time in 3 Seasons.  WOW. I knew the 3rd String would get it done. Tanner showed what we all saw in preseason, he did pretty well.   Also Goedert got some reps too.   Good win and let's get this show on the Road.  Time to send the Packers Packing.    Let's Go.

    Gotta give Tanner some love.  It's only the Giants but beat them with the backups.  Showing some game and definitely in the mix going forward.  Giants had to bring some pressure to slow him down.  Can see already that if you give him time, he will find the open guy.

    What's with all of this rooting for teams so we can avoid this team or that in the playoffs?  The fact of the matter is you have zero control who you'll play, and if you advance, you're playing a team that has also won a playoff game.  You're going to have to play good teams at some point regardless, so the team will focus on the controllables and handle their business.  I honestly like our chances against anyone, even a NFCCG in Detroit or Minnesota.

    Fans can speculate but for players and coaches it's business as usual regardless.

    I'm hoping the Lions win tonight because I think they're banged up enough to lose in the Divisional Round. So if we take care of the Packers, the NFCCG is in Philly. We can win it on the road (though we never have), but I'd just rather it be at the Linc. 

    EDIT: Of course we have to take care of the Divisional Round, too.

    They say he's good to go after 'losing feeling in his throwing hand'. Apparenly Willis hurt his thumb too..

    Jaws mentioned that the same thing happened to him back in the day, and it took weeks to get right, said he had to sit out the following week because he just couldn't release the ball accurately and control it. 

    Every situation is different, of course. But we'll see if it affects him next week.

    You’d never wish injury upon any player but… It would certainly help if he isn’t able to go next week.
