Angelo Cataldi Says Jeffrey Lurie Told Howard Eskin to Get Brandon Graham Off the Air Before Eskin Reportedly Grabbed Female Audacy Employee

Jeff McLane and Matt Breen updated their Inquirer story about Howard Eskin on Friday afternoon, reporting that the Burger King "forcibly grabbed” a female Audacy employee back in December at Chickie’s and Pete’s, the same night that Brandon Graham kicked up a hornet’s nest talking about Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown’s relationship:

"The Audacy employee interrupted a conversation Eskin was having with Graham, a source said. Eskin yelled at her, and the employee tried to leave the scene before Eskin followed her and grabbed her, sources said.

The incident was witnessed by others at the restaurant and created a commotion, according to sources.”

Howard was hosting Graham’s show alongside Spike Eskin that night. It was the Monday after the Carolina home win.

This story takes a wild left turn with the retired Angelo Cataldi, who now appears on Dan Sileo’s JAKIB Media show. Cataldi says that Eskin was under orders from none other than Jeffrey Lurie to get B.G. off the air because he was creating a problem:

This story takes a wild left turn with the retired Angelo Cataldi, who now appears on Dan Sileo’s JAKIB Media show. Cataldi says that Eskin was under orders from none other than Jeffrey Lurie to get B.G. off the air because he was creating a problem:

"He had gotten word from Jeff Lurie, the owner, to get Graham out of there because Graham had said there were some issues, he acknowledged there was a little bit of a problem between A.J. Brown and Jalen Hurts. Get him out, he said too much already, get him out of the building. Howard was just trying to follow the instructions of the owner of the Eagles, Jeff Lurie. That’s how the whole thing evolved… he grabbed her by the arm, not to hurt her, not in a menacing way, just in a frustrated (way). She said ‘don’t touch me’ and he touched her again. That’s what set the whole thing into motion. That’s why ultimately, it took 11 days, they came to an agreement that he would resign. That’s what actually happened. I was not the witness that day but heard it five times from people in 11 days and the Inquirer couldn’t get the story.”

There’s more in there from Cataldi if you want to listen. It goes for a few more minutes but the whole thing sounds like a huge crap show. Did Howard Eskin end his WIP career in one last act of water carrying for the Eagles? Hilarious! Enjoy your weekend.

I vaguely recall someone saying something about him not being on the field, I think it was vs. the Cowboys but I'm not positive on that.

Sounds like he was becoming a really big liability, or maybe he had been all along but it was kept under wraps.

That doesn't add up.  The first part of that article makes it seem like Eskin was the one interviewing BG ... the "female employee" interrupts (which makes it seem like Eskin got mad at her for interrupting him doing his thing so he chased her down to scold her for doing so).  The latter part of that article makes it seem like Eskin was the one interrupting the interview (by the "female employee") with BG.
