January 9Jan 9 Hello from Titletown... In reading the comments in this thread, I have some factual info to keep in mind while analyzing this game. Some here seem to be slightly misinformed. The Bears game was meaningless, the Packers sat most everyone after the first quarter. Josh Jacobs for example, didn't play the last 3 quarters and was 100% healthy. Kenny Clark sat the last 3 quarters. Others were pulled as well. J-Love injured his elbow and hand, but could have come back in if the game mattered. Discussing the Packers coming into the Playoffs on a sour note is an uninformed take. It's like saying KC is coming in playoffs on sour note. Week 18 is irrelevant. Yes, Jaire(top corner) and Christian(Top WR) are out. Quay Walker(LB) and Evan Williams(safety) are questionable. Everyone has injuries, not even worth discussing, other than those questionable. J-Love will play, but is still dealing with some pain in his elbow and throwing hand. Should be good to go by Sunday. Weather will be zero factor. 40 degrees, sunny, and 7 mph wind. I see many here are acting like this game is a guaranteed win for Philly. I enjoy reading that. Dallas was overconfident last year and Green Bay completely steamrolled them. Dallas has not recovered to this day. The Packers broke them. Head Coach: The Packers have obvious edge with LaFleur far superior to Sirianni. Offense: Edge Packers Defense: Edge Eagles, but the Packers also have a formidable defense. Special Teams: Wash Should be a fantastic game, enjoy it, I know I will. OneTeamOneNation PackerNation!

Packers beat 2 playoff teams this year: Rams without Nacua or Kupp and the Texans without Nico Collins. Packers haven’t played as well as they did in last year’s playoff run at all this season, so unless they catch THAT fire again this week, it will be a 2 score game in favor of the birds.

Oh man yes please! Would be nice to have an easy play off win and to get Jalen back in to things. No drama. No stress. Just play well and get the win. Unfortunately with our Eagles that feels like a long shot.

Who gives a crap about regular season records and who played who at this point? It's like saying the Brazil game means anything. Both teams are very different now. It's also like saying the last time the Packers and Eagles met in the playoffs, the Packers won and then went on to win the Super Bowl. That's meaningless to this game. This is the 2025 playoffs and everyone is 0-O. Please keep guaranteeing a Eagles win though. I don't make guarantees. I very much like the Packers chances though. I prefer to let the game be decided on the grass.

Not that those games matter right now, but why are you acting like Kellen Moore scares anyone? Lmmfao.

But I agree on Nick. Should be a good game. Looking forward to it. I almost went out for it, but something came up for Saturday nite and it would be madness trying to rush to Philly on Sunday morning. Should be a nice showing of Packers fans for the game though. No offense, but the crowd noise is overrated at the Linc.

January 9Jan 9 21 minutes ago, Mike030270 said: I was just correcting your little comparison You mean LaFleur vs. Nick? I was talking head coaches. But if you want to talk offenses... You think Kellen Moore's offense is superior to LaFleur's? LaFleur has won 70 games in 6 years. 2 straight NFC Championship games. That is with Joe Barry as DC for 3 of those years. Barry is a clown in case you are wondering. Hafley is much better DC. This is Hafs first season as DC and I have a couple issues with him, but overall is quality DC. Dealt with a lot of injuries this year.

I would say no. I didn’t guarantee anything. It’s possible they get hot, like last season, and make some noise this year. You gave the Offense advantage to the Packers… would you take the Packers oline over the Eagles? No way. Running back? 😂 Wide receivers? I’ll take AJ Brown/Devonta Smith over the Packers deeper, but less talented group. TE? I’ll give the Packers that one for depth, but Goedert is probably the best one overall when healthy. That leaves QB… Love is a much better fit for the Packers offense, but Hurts fits better for the Eagles. The Eagles don’t have flashy stat numbers and rank low on the stat sheet, especially passing, because they don’t have to pass the ball 40 times a game. We run it down your throat, control the clock and limit possessions for the other team. I would much rather have the Eagles offense going into this game and the playoffs overall.

Well, it's not surprising we both prefer the offenses of our respective teams. We can agree to disagree on which team has the edge on offense. Hurts will somewhat limit the offense. Not by his choice, but the coaches will limit the things he can do. If he is running and gets tackled and bangs his head off the ground, the officials upstairs will call down and have him removed from the game. If he goes in the blue tent and doesn't pass the tests, he will go get a scan and possibly done for the game and playoffs. Coaches will have him limit runs, & the tush push is most likely out. They don't want him going helmet to helmet into the D-line. The tush push is risky for QBs with concussion issues. Don't think so? Watch how many times they run it on Sunday. I would say zero to 1. All that being said, I feel turnovers will decide this tight game. The Packers are third in the league with a plus-12 turnover margin. Advantage Packers. Hurts threw 2 picks in Brazil and fumbled once. The Packers are as high on Josh Jacobs as the Eagles are high on Saquon Barkley. Both will carry a big load on Sunday. Both will most likely put up big numbers.

Hurts will be 3 weeks removed from the concussion, it’s the playoffs, there won’t be any limitations. Eagles held #2 overall rusher Derrick Henry on the #1 rushing offense to 82 yards a few weeks ago. Not a lock down performance, but I like our chances. Turnovers could be a factor if either team has 3 or more. For the Packers to win, I think they will have to shut down our run game, which I don’t think they can do without loading the box. Get the lead (very possible) and force us to throw the ball, against most likely a light secondary (because you are missing your best corner and have to load the box for the run). And then stop Brown/Smith/Goedert. I’ll admit, there are question marks around our passing game, not because this has never been dominant, but because we haven’t really needed it much this season. IMO, that’s a pretty tall task you face in Philly, but anything is possible in the NFL playoffs. So good luck!

I was one of Hurts’ biggest critics last year and thru the first month of this season, but I tip my hat to him as he’s been very good with ball security since our bye.

And good luck trying to cover 5 WRs and two TEs on the field. The defense has no clue where the ball is going. The Packers have at least 9 different players catch balls each game. The Packers D can take Brown and Smith away and the Eagles are done. Good luck trying to take away at least 4 WRs and 2 TEs on every play. And if you think the coaches are not going to limit a QB who just now got out of concussion protocol, you are a fool. It's not 3 weeks since he was removed from protocol. If a player is in the protocol that long they are concerned about a serious brain injury. Players that have had a severe concussion are more prone to it happening again. Jalen was in the protocol for weeks and just now removed. That is not normal. That is a problem. And they will be very cautious. If you want to lie to yourself, then be my guest. Be sure that the Packers are very aware and will make sure that he takes several hits. The Pack are not concerned if they slam him down and his head bounces hard off the turf. Jalen has not been on the grass in a month. The Packers may be up 24-0 by the time Jalen shakes a little rust off. Yup, "anything can happen in the playoffs" and will. Good luck! You will need it. Yeah, I came to a Eagles fan forum the week the Packers are playing the Eagles in the playoffs and I am not a Packers fan. Are my Packers season tickets(both the Green and Gold package tickets. Gold is the package from Milwaukee, where they played 3 games a season until 1994) also all part of the plan? Keep in mind, I would have had to start this plan in the 70s when I was a young child going to Packers games with my father. After my father passed, the season tickets were transferred to my name. All this to "troll" a Eagles fan forum decades later during the playoffs. Cool story bruh, you really should get out more. I will pray for you. Back to the game... J-Love has a cannon arm and a quick release, this will be quite helpful Sunday.

Watch out for Romeo, Reed, Wicks, Malik and Bo. They are on a "revenge tour" like Malik said. Let's do this! Is it Sunday yet?

And I talked about the Packers being plus-12 in turnover margin. Hurts having 2 picks and a fumble in week one bothers you? Sorry I mentioned it, my bad. I'm glad Hurts has been better with ball security since week 1. He also didn't play the Packers since week 1. Some teams are better than others taking the ball away. The Packers believe if they win the ball, they win the game. I mean, it's football, the team that wins the turnover battle wins 80% of games.

Then we can discuss "results." By the way, is it Bermuda grass at the Linc? Or a Hybrid turf? Not sure if they changed it out since I was there last in 2016. Great game that night.
