I was board so I looked up some stats/facts about some of the players we as fans and the team itself had interest in during the draft. Here is a few

Chop Robinson - ended up getting drafted 21st by Dolphins 26 total tackles with 6 sacks on the year in 17 games

Mohamed Kamara - several people had him in their drafts he also was selected by Miami in the 5th round he ended up with 1 assisted tackle in 5 games played as 2nd string wlb

Dallin Holker -te- end up going undrafted and being picked up by the saints spent the season at the #3 te and had 3 catches in 12 games played

Trevin Wallace -lb-  a lb a lot of us had in our drafts ended up being drafted by the panthers #72 3rd round and having 64 tackles 1 sack 2forced fumbles and 1 fumble recovery in 13 games played

Marshawn Kneeland de - ended up being drafted by the cowboys in the 2nd round he had 13 tackles and 1 pass breakup in 10 games

Storm Duck -cb-  was a late round/ undeafted player the eagles had some interest in he ended up signing as udfa with Miami and had 35 tackles with 4 pass breakups in 14 games  and is listed as the #1 lcb on their roster

if I get more time I’ll check in on some other prospects rookie seasons enjoy

Really neat exercise. Love the research.

Here's the final mock I posted last year  - how'd I do? BTW - I was very proud I hit on 2 guys the Eagles actually took.

  • 1-22 CB Cooper DeJean -  Probably a starter at outside corner. If the young guys mature he could be a safety in 2025 or 2026
  • 2-50 LB Edgerrin Cooper - Finally, a starter quality linebacker. If not this year then he starts next year (Green Bay 2nd round)
  • 2-53 G Cooper Beebe - Steen better get ready for a battle (Dallas 3rd round)
  • 4-120 RB Will Shipley - multi-dimensional. Could end up as our kick returner. Nice rotation with Barkley & Gainwell getting most of the load
  • 5-161 Edge Cedric Johnson - upgrades the rotation. Can you say adios Tarron Jackson (6th round, Cincinnati)
  • 5-171 Kitan Oladapo - starters are set but McCollum is the only healthy back-up until Brown is cleared to go or one of the young corners changes position (5th, Green Bay)
  • 5-172 WR Luke McCaffery - could a 5th round pick actulaly start at slot WR? You bet!  (3rd round, Washington)
  • 6-210 DT Logan Lee - a name rarely discussed but who discusses 6th round picks. At 6'5" he's long which is a Fangio favored trait (6th, Steelers)

Cooper DeJean- 16 games 51 total tackles  1FF .5 sacks   Wasn’t a starter till after the bye week and completely changed the eagles defense. By all accounts he didn’t allow a wr to score a td the whole year and did great in coverage.
Edgerrin Cooper - 14 games played 87 total tackles , 3.5 sacks, 1FF, 1FR, 1int very good numbers but you can’t fault the eagles second round pick in Cooper DeJean who is in the running for DROY

cooper beebe - ended up playing 1059 snaps at center for the cowboys but only a 65.4 PFF grade 21/64 centers

Will Shipley - 30 carries for 87 yards 2.7 per carry mostly in mop up duty with backup olinemen. He also added 4 catches for 35 yards 8.8 per. Had a couple decent plays including a decent touchdown called back due to penalties. I was expecting Shipley to be a little more explosive/involved in the pass game this year but we mostly leaned on Barkley and Gainwell.. with gainwell a free agent Ship can move up the depth chart just could suck if the whole O is learning yet another playbook.

Cedric Johnson played in 9 games 7 tackles and 1 sack

Kitan Oladapo - played in 9 games 7 tackles

Luke McCaffery- 18 catches for 168 yard 9.3per also returned 10 kickoffs for 299 yards. Drafted in the 3 round I think the commanders got a solid slot wr.

Logan Lee- ending up spending the entire year on injured reserve for a calf injury suffered in the preseason

Update Shipley goes ham in final minutes of championship game with Barkley on the sidelines and gainwell out… 4 carries 77 yards and a TD.. also had a forced fumble before halftime on kickoff coverage and 3 kick returns for 88 yards
