At first I was wondering how in the world did Koy end up with so many playoff wins, but it seems they’re counting time on the bench too. 😂 Anyways as a starter Jalen is already second on the Eagles list.

Let’s hope he keeps that energy going.

People criticize fans here for comparing the QBs - understandably, obviously Mahomes is better. But since they're both playing in the SB, they are talking about both QBs.

Good Morning Football compared their stats through 5 seasons because Hurts is in his 5th season, so comparing where both were at at 5 seasons. They also included the what if SB win for some reason.

People who criticize player comparisons usually just don't have an actual rebuttal to an argument or opinion. Comparing players is a natural element of being a sports fan. Saying something along the lines of, "You can't compare Billy Bob to Jimmy Joe ..." is completely ignorant. I mean, it's obviously absurd to equate Greg Ward with DeVonta Smith, but there is absolutely nothing absurd about comparing the two players or saying the two names "in the same breath." Fans that get butt-hurt by player comparisons are a joke and IMO lack the ability to be objective. If people want to believe that Mahomes is the best QB in the NFL, well --- I for one want to see how my QB compares to the best --- especially as it pertains to results.

This game will define Hurt's legacy. Rooting for him bigly.

34 people around here said he’s not a great QB. Man up and make your voices heard.

For me. And I do appreciate there is debate, Hurts is now the greatest Eagles QB of all time.

I don’t think it’s a debate. When stats and records say "first to ever” in football (not just Eagles records) you stand in rare air. On top of that he’s the only starting Eagles QB to win the chip. The other guys have been great over the years, but really after a few games and an MVP people put Foles there. Jalen clearly surpassed all of that. This shouldn’t be a debate.

Foles Super Bowl:  41 points and Philly Special

Hurts Super Bowl:  Only 40 points, most yards rushing , and a Tush Push

We don't have to debate either or.

We had both. Both gave us wins.

Jalen gets to add to his legacy.

I'll take another SB win or two. The SB window is open.

At some point in the next few days I’ll give some proper thought to a response and I’ll try to articulate a post.

For now I’m just going to say… That’s my QB.

Ok, so he won it all. No way he wins two in a row though.

The doubters will probably motivate him again, but here we are once again where he needs another new coordinator. One has to wonder how things will go next season having to deal with this problem again.

His overall season in 22 looked a lot better than this past season. I don’t think it’s coincidence that he had the same OC. It would be great if he could get 3-4 years of stability there. No doubt he could get another one or two.

One of the main reasons why I would like to see Sirianni take over as play caller. Even if he loses his next coordinator (again) at least that stays consistent.

Saw this. Damn

Go ahead, Doubter.
Go ahead and fire away another rude Tweet from your mother’s basement.
Go ahead and tell the world just what you told the world in 2018.
You remember those days, Doubter.
The days when you Tweeted to the world that Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts couldn’t throw it a lick.
The days when you said he should be a running back.
The days when you insisted he’d never be a top notch college quarterback let alone an NFL quarterback.
Go ahead, Doubter.
Go ahead and send out another nasty Tweet like the one you sent out when Jalen Hurts was drafted by the Eagles.
"What in the world is Howie Roseman thinking?”, you asked.
You took a few more shots at Jalen just to prove your point.
Go ahead, Doubter.
Go ahead and admit you were wrong.
Admit that Jalen showed class when he was benched by Coach Saban in the national championship game back in 2018.
Admit that Jalen showed class when he refused to get into a verbal war with his critics.
Admit that that the 26-year-old proved you wrong.
Go ahead, Doubter.
Admit that Jalen Hurts is the most underrated and unappreciated quarterback in NFL history.
Admit that Mr. Roseman knew what he was doing.
Admit that you have never played a down of football in your life.
Hey, Doubter:
You might want to congratulate Jalen for being named the MVP of last night’s Super Bowl after the Eagles smashed the Chiefs 40-22.
You might want to congratulate Jalen for becoming the fourth Crimson Tide quarterback to be named a Super Bowl MVP- the others being Bart Starr, Joe Namath and Ken Stabler.
Go ahead, Doubter.
Admit that Jalen proved you wrong, as he trusted the process and trusted the Man above, as he’s always believed what he’s preached:
"My faith has always been a part of me. I’ve always wanted to root myself in that and keep Him in the center of my life and everything that I do. So through the highs and the lows, He’s greater than all of them, and that’s something that I can always acknowledge,” Jalen said.
I know you mean well, Doubter, and I trust that after last night’s game you have changed your tune.
I trust that you are now a firm believer in Jalen Hurts.
We forgive you, Doubter, because we are good people with good hearts.
And we welcome you to the club.

Nice picture. Let's see him do it again.

Let's have a repeat.

Don't forget the Eagles put their second string in and called off the dogs. They could have put up a 50 burger at the end if they wanted to.
