People wanting more from the passing game from Hurts … be careful what you wish for.

Barkley

I'm done worrying about his perceived limitations. He led the team to another huge win. Just a winner and only seems to care about that.  I wasnt always in this camp, but he's the kind of guy that all Eagles fans should love.

Jalen Hurts’ nine playoff rushing TDs are the most in NFL history for a QB

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has more rushing touchdowns in the postseason than any quarterback in NFL history.

Hurts claimed that record on Sunday when he scored three touchdowns in the Eagles’ NFC Championship Game win over the Commanders. Hurts now has nine rushing touchdowns in the postseason in his career.

The previous record of eight career rushing touchdowns in the playoffs belonged to 49ers Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young.

Behind Young are three quarterbacks with seven career rushing touchdowns in the playoffs each: Tom Brady, Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes scored two rushing touchdowns on Sunday in the AFC Championship Game, and if he were to score two more in the Super Bowl, he’d tie Hurts’ record of nine.

Hurts is only 26 years old and has shown an ability to reach the end zone like no other quarterback, ever. In addition to owning the postseason record, Hurts has 55 career regular-season rushing touchdowns, putting him in third place in NFL history, 20 behind Cam Newton, the all-time record holder. With his ability to make big plays and to score with the tush push, Hurts is likely to retire with more rushing touchdowns than any NFL quarterback, ever.

He needs to do everything to put his name on the list of winners.

I believe he did last time. But it is and always will be a team sport and everybody needs to step up for this moment. Our defense is better than last time and our RB is better than last time. Unfortunately, our current ST are a downgrade from 2 years ago. So this defense will have to come up big this time around.

Defense needs 2 or 3 turnovers. They’ve got to get extra possessions for us.

I remember saying earlier in that season that Quez Watkins couldn't be trusted because he always seemed to have either key drops or be responsible for interceptions, and then lo and behold he drops a key pass in that SB.

Come somebody explain this? Didn't Elway lose his first few then later come back to win back to back? That was after Kelly and the Bills 4 straight

Elway lost the Super Bowl in 1987, 1988, and 1990 then won back to back in 1998 and 1999.  He made it to 3 Super Bowls before Jim Kelly appeared in his first Super Bowl in 1991.

Only explanation would be that the intern that posted this for WIP is probably 20 years old and thinks the world didn’t start until 1991.

Elway was on that list.

Hurts doesn’t technically have a loss right? So since the bye week he’s what 13 of 13?

He started the 2nd Washington game so the stats have it as a loss for him, but most people think they would have won had he remained in the game.

It's a bummer we'll never know BUT who knows, had he finished that game and we did beat Wash perhaps things go differently from there to get to where we are now so wouldn't change a thing.
