hoosierdaddy Posted January 24 Posted January 24 I'm going back & forth on this. As a mental exercise I assume we have the cap space to only bring back two of these guys. Who are you choosing? I'm a sucker for offensive line, so I'm picking Becton first. Then I want to pick Baun second, but I feel we cannot completely deplete our defensive line. But then I realize how much of a game changer Baun has been for our defense. As of now I think I'm going Becton & Baun. But my opinion will probably be different tomorrow.
Wagyu Hotdog Posted January 24 Posted January 24 I voted Baun and Williams because I think Stoutland can turn anyone into a serviceable OL but Becton would be my second choice 1
Mike030270 Posted January 24 Posted January 24 I want Baun, Becton, and Williams back badly If I had to choose only 2 then it's Baun and Becton
seengreen Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Braun M.Williams Becton They have always had an organizational philosophy of champions(ships) being built through the lines. Baun and Becton M. Williams is a huge need to re-sign. Since DE is a need via trade or draft. He can rush inside or out as a DT. But, they need a real FORCE at DE.
kiwinavega Posted January 24 Posted January 24 I went for Baun and Williams. Baun is obviously an all-pro in this system and he gives so much security for the front four. I think Becton is a fine player, but we're likely losing BG (either to retirement or to a lower snap count) and I think he will be harder to replace than Becton. All fine players, though.
CheesesteakNBeer Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Baun + Williams no doubt. We have the best OL coach in the league and a higher investment in Steen to step in for Becton. I believe 1st or 2nd round will be Sweats replacement.
DaEagles4Life Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Milton is gonna get paid paid and I dont see how they can match it. 2 1

Penn7980 Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Sweat was on the street last off-season. Howie signed him back. His value to the team will be less. The other 3 are valuable to the team & should be re-signed. Williams might get a rich contract somewhere else. Howie needs to work to free some cap room. IMHO, offload Davis to keep Williams is an option to explore.

Couple things, Sweat was under contract it was between him and Reddick on whos deal they would restructure or extend they chose Sweat to restructure. Davis is on a rookie deal they aren't going to dump him when he is only 3 million against the cap next season it isn't going to be enough to get a Williams deal done. 1
xxeaglesfanxx Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Baun is a given. The second is tough. A few good choices but I’d go Williams. He could start for any team. I think Stoutland can make anyone a pro bowler but Beckton is third choice.
Devaster Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I think they will bring back a couple of these guys. Baun and Williams are going to cost the most and would also be the best to bring back. Becton is a pass for me or try to resign him on a cheaper deal. Becton is replaceable and the Eagles revived his career. They can replace Becton. Stoutland is an excellent OLine coach.
