My nephew was on the highway near Baltimore when that small plane crashed onto the highway. Right in front of him  

Congested area. Hearing homes are on fire and multiple casualties.

Left the house around 6:15 tonight and GPS told us to take that route to get to the shore.  Stopped to get some food for the kids, then changed route to Blue Route.  Crazy that this happened.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oh man. Was listening to police scanner. It’s a crazy scene but they are doing their jobs.  Huge response.  Unable to hear the fire board scan (for free).

oh no. A medical flight.  Just saw that post.  So sad 😞 

Hoping the number of dead and injured are minimal given the circumstances.

 

 

I hope everyone on here is ok. This is unbelievable. Hope all of your love ones are safe.

So sad. My oldest is flying tonight. I almost never worry when he’s flying anymore. Suddenly I am. 

Saw the video on the news a little while ago. The way it's nose diving, maybe the pilot lost 'up and down'? I saw a report that there was an explosion in the air, so maybe an oxygen tank exploded causing the plan to fall from the sky? 

Crazy to have 2 in 2 days.

Looks like it was on fire when it was going down so likely some type of fire or explosion right after takeoff.

TBH general aviation crashes happen way more than you would think. 
 

Granted, most of those are small prop planes, but fatal business jet crashes happen a few times a year. 
 

The circumstances of this one are overly terrible.
