February 10, 20251 yr Still flying high from last nights win I did something this morning that I never do, turned on ESPN. First Take was on, S.A. Smith, Nate Burleson, Shannon Sharpe and Dan Orlovsky. Easily the most boob program I've watched in a long time, maybe ever. They spent 15 minutes with the 1st 3 discussing what they thought was the most noteworthy event of the game, Kendrick Lamar dissing Drake during the halftime show. Just that that meant so much to them, one rapper dissing another, and they really thought it was a culturally significant, almost earth shattering event, says a lot about them and the culture. Then, after those 3 had their say, they turned it over to Orlovsky for his take and spent at least half of his time with the 1st 3 mocking him, no one cares what the white guy thinks about this, maybe if it was country music his take would matter, that was literally what they said, the talked over him the whole time he tried to eek out a humiliated answer. Won't be turning those racists on again until next February when I'm still flying high the morning after the next Super Bowl.

Best Superbowl halftime performances before 2019 when Jay Z took over and ruined the half time. Here's my top10. 1993. Michael Jackson 2007. Prince 2005. Paul McCartney 2010. The Who 2006. Rolling Stones 2008. Tom Petty 2012. Madonna 2002. U2 2009. Bruce Springsteen. 2015. Katy Perry. yeah...they need to go back to having legends perform. they've been trending towards more modern artists lately & they've been hit or miss. 2026 should be someone legendary like evanescence!

I can't believe I am going to agree with you... That was your first mistake. ESPN stopped covering sports years ago. They still produce live events which are fine, but the shows are trash. And I like Nate Burleson, Shannon Sharpe, and Orlovsky. SA Smith likes to hear himself talk too much. I never watched First Take and I don't think I ever will. My take on the halftime show: Indifferent. I don't care about the Lamar-Drake feud so it wasn't meant for me. I picked up on some jazz influences in the music, that was nice, but ultimately not for me.

I tried the NFL Network first, but they seemed to talk for about 20 minutes then replay it over, and over again.
