Uscg-green Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Gonna be Rams. That was the most competitive playoff opponent

Wallyhorse Posted February 10 Posted February 10 I said in Around The NFL the winner of the Super Bowl would open against the Commanders and I'm sticking with it. Commanders are going to have a ton of prime time games next season as they will want to showcase Jayden Daniels. 1
xxeaglesfanxx Posted February 10 Posted February 10 I voted Lions but could see Washington or Dallas if they allow a division game Week 1.

Commanders are likely to have a ton of prime time games this year (plus CBS likely gets Commanders-Cowboys on Thanksgiving potentially setting up Cowboys-Eagles for the Thursday after Thanksgiving this year) and I thought they would be in the opener no matter what. The full Eagles predictions I posted here.
UK_EaglesFan89 Posted February 13 Posted February 13 I think it’ll be Detroit. Most thought that was going to be the championship game so I think some felt robbed by the Detroit injuries. It’ll either be Detroit in the "NFC Championship Game everyone hoped for”. Or it’ll be Washington in the "NFC Championship Game and East revenge game”.

I suspect they will save the Lions for either the Thursday after Thanksgiving on Amazon Prime or Christmas Day on Netflix (also a Thursday) with the Cowboys playing in Philly in whichever of those slots doesn't get the Lions-Eagles game (I have the Eagles hosting the Broncos Thanksgiving night). Commanders I suspect were penciled in for the opening slot before the Super Bowl ever kicked off (Chiefs are also scheduled to host the Commanders this season). I suspect the NFL will heavily feature the Commanders in prime time with Jayden Daniels this upcoming season. 1

EaglesAddict Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Even though it'll prob be LA or Detroit, I'm gonna hope it's not either of them because I'd rather play them when it's cold here for some additional HFA. So...I'm hoping Washington
20dawk4life Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Raiders. Gives us what should be an easy win. Puts Peter Carroll and Chip Kelly on prime time. They could add Aaron Rodgers this off-season, if not him a rookie QB. All in a market they are trying to push.
Mat Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Washington makes a ton of sense being a division rival and the NFC Championship Game rematch. Otherwise the Lions

Otherwise the Lions Also Jayden Daniels is going to be getting a ton of prime time games with the Commanders this season. This was the schedule prediction post I did after the Eagles won, I actually have the Eagles with more Thursday home games (four) than Sunday home games (three). I suspect as noted there, the Lions are saved for Christmas Day (with the Cowboys the Thursday after Thanksgiving, though I can see where the Lions instead play the Eagles here the Thursday after Thanksgiving and the Cowboys game here is saved for Christmas Day on Netflix). Eagles can have four Thursday games in this schedule since they host the opener and in this case would also be playing Thanksgiving night (short rest) and the Thursday after Thanksgiving (normal rest). The Christmas Day game would be a second short-rest game but the NFL now allows two short-rest weeks a year.
