Now that the Eagles have won the Super Bowl, we know they will open in the Thursday night game at home.  How I see the schedule:

Do note the Phillies are at home in Weeks 2 and 4 so those must be road games.  I'm also assuming the NFL will prepare for the Phils to again be in the MLB postseason.

Week 1: Thursday, Sept. 4 vs. Commanders, 8:20 PM ET on NBC.

Week 2: Sunday, Sept. 14 at Packers, 4:25 PM ET on FOX/CBS (whichever has the doubleheader)

Week 3: Sunday, Sept. 21 vs. Raiders, 1:00 PM ET on FOX

Week 4: Sunday, Sept 28 at Vikings, 4:25 PM ET on FOX

Week 5: Monday, Oct. 6 at Bills, 8:15 PM ET on ESPN/ABC

Week 6: Bye Week

Week 7: Sunday, Oct. 19 vs. Giants, 1:00 PM ET on FOX

Week 8: Sunday, Oct. 26 at Commanders, 4:25 PM ET on FOX

Week 9: Sunday, Nov. 2 at Buccaneers, 8:20 PM ET on NBC

Week 10: Monday, Nov. 10 vs. Rams, 8:15 PM ET on ESPN/ABC

Week 11: Sunday, Nov. 16 at Chiefs, 8:20 PM ET on NBC

Week 12: Sunday, Nov. 23 at Cowboys, 4:25 PM ET on FOX

Week 13: Thursday, Nov. 27 vs. Broncos, 8:20 PM ET on NBC (Thanksgiving)

Week 14: Thursday, Dec. 4 vs. Cowboys, 8:15 PM ET on Amazon Prime

Week 15: Sunday, Dec. 14 at Chargers, 4:25 PM ET on CBS

Week 16: Sunday, Dec. 21 vs. Bears, 1:00 PM ET on FOX

Week 17: Thursday, Dec. 25 vs. Lions, Time TBD on Netflix (Christmas Day, time will be determined on whether Netflix has one or two games Christmas Day, if one game this would likely be 3:00 PM ET, if two games likely 4:30 PM ET)

Week 18: Saturday or Sunday, Jan. 3-4, 2026 at Giants, Time/Network TBD

Eagles in this scenario can play four Thursday games because one is the opener, then back-to-back games Thanksgiving and the week after with the Cowboys game on normal rest.  Teams can be scheduled for two Thursday games on short rest and given how loaded the Eagles schedule is I can see the NFL holding the Lions game for Christmas Day (you could also flip the Lions and Cowboys games here with the Lions Thursday 12/4 and Cowboys on Christmas Day if Netflix wants the Cowboys).

lol the Super Bowl isn't even 12 hrs in the rearview mirror

 Don’t.

We go to KC next season so that’s out.

Hey @Wallyhorse, how about I make some sweet and spicy chili after wearing the same underpants for 4 days straight. White and dri fit. Then I light a match right near the skidmark, and rip a wet explosion fart right into your suckhole.  Does that fit into your schedule, Seymour Johnson?

Didn't realize when I did this I actually have the Eagles playing more Thursday home games (four) than Sunday home games (three) and one Monday home game.  That I think would be the first time in NFL history a team will play more home games on any one day of the week (Thursday in this case) than they would on Sunday.
