March 12Mar 12 Dillon may get cut later. This doesn't mean they won't draft a RB. Last year they signed a handful of guys who got cut in August.

Of further note he is now listed as a FB and no longer a LB. from: https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-news-roundup-latest-league-updates-from-wednesday-march-12 Philadelphia Eagles SIGNINGS RB AJ Dillon is signing a one-year contract, NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo reported. LB Ben VanSumeren is re-signing on a one-year, $10 million full guaranteed deal, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. lol --- I'm pretty sure that's a typo. If not Howie is concussed from that beer can.
March 13Mar 13 Interesting. Howie now has 20 draft picks over the next two drafts. including compensatory picks. I take comfort in that. It may take some time to rebuild the defense. Including 11 picks in the first 4 rounds.

He likes to trade and acquire even more picks. 20 could be 23 or 24.

Behind him, #81 is more a receiver than blocker. Couple behind him are moving in & out of PS. Draft one in the early rounds to develop sounds wise. Tankathon has the following TE ranking. I would love to get either Taylor or Arroyo at our 64th pick and then take Jackson Hawes in the 5th Round.

Harold Fannin, Jr. might be a name to watch given that his HC at Bowling Green is now the Eagles QB coach. I would, however, like to see somebody with greater size.

Even if it's not this draft, it could be next years. I definitely see the possibility of him doing what he did in 2018 and trade pick 32 and drop out of the first round and then possibly using the acquired picks to move up elsewhere, or get more picks in 2026. Of course in 2018, he traded 32 to the Ravens who got Lamar Jackson. Howie turned that into Dallas Goedert, Avante Maddox and Miles Sanders (and maybe more, it's too late to follow the entire trail lol). It sucks losing who we've lost, but it's in Howie's hands, and we can't ask for more than that.

Moving up and down a draft board or packaging some picks for someone’s player in their prime. It’s definitely thinking about longevity over win now.

Just copy the web address of the post on X and paste into your EMB post. Sometimes you'll be prompted to past as plain text in order for it to embed. And yes, probably a good idea to open an account on X. You'll get breaking Eagles news if you do.

This is how I do it, which can be hit or miss but when it works for me, this is how it works. Go to the tweet you want to post and at the bottom right, click the 'Share' icon (the bracked wit the arrow): Spoiler Click "copy link", then come here and paste the link: See where it says "Paste as plain text instead"? Click that and if it's going to work, you'll get the tweet embedded.
