• Goes - Edge BG, Edge Sweat, DT Williams, RB Gainwell, DB Maddox, OT Fred Johnson, TE Uzomah, Edge Harris

Free agent signings (an old friend comes back) - 

• Edge Hassan Reddick (replaced BG although no one can really replace BG)
• Safety - Trevon Moehrig (replaced Maddox)

Trades - 

• 2nd round pick and Jets 3rd in 2026 for Edge Trey Hendrickson (replaced Sweat)
• 1st round pick for 2nd and 4th and 6th

Draft - 

• 2nd - DT TJ Sanders, South Carolna 6'5" 295 5.00 (replaced Williams)
• 3rd - TE Terrnace Ferguson, Oregon 6'5" 255 4.59 (replaces Uzohah and because Goedert is injured often)
• 4th - RB Ollie Gordon, Oklahoma State 6'1" 211 4.53 (replaces Gainwell)
• 4th - C/G Jonah Monheim, Southern Cal 6'4" 307 5.05 (replaced Gates who we cut)
• 5th - OT Ozzie Trapillo, Boston College 6'8" 309 5.10 (replaces big Fred Johnson)
• 5th - Edge Fadil Diggs, Texas A&M 6'5" 260 4.75 (replaces Harris)
• 5th - LB Kobe King, Penn State 6'1" 248 (insurance for possible long term injuries to Dean and Van Summeran)
• 6th - OT Jalen Travis, Iowa State 6'8" 341 (because Stout performs miracles)

Summary - Howie retains 2 of the big 4 free agents

• Edge - Hendrickson (17.5 sacks in 2023 and 2024), Reddick and Diggs upgrade over BG, Sweat, and Harris
• DT - Sanders for Williams
• TE - Ferguson for Uzomah, another upgrade
• RB Gordon for Gainwell
• Monheim for Gates
• Trapillo/Travis for big Fred Johnson
• LB even if Dean and Van summeran are healthy, King makes roster and Van Summeran moves to fullback

It says in the title that it's too early. So, I had nothing to say other than it's too early. (just some sarcasm/dry humor)

But, you have done a lot of work here.

My thoughts are that you and some other posters put so much work and thought into your analysis and research.

You should be on a draft committee with the Eagles.

I haven't gone past running the simulator beyond 2 rounds.

Reddick is a big no no for me now. Bridges are burnt I think and he could be washed.

Don’t see how we can afford Hendrickson in any way. Particularly if we are paying Becton, Baun and Reddick.

I do agree with these sentiments. Reddick despite his talent could undermine the team chemistry given the circumstances of his departure and while I like the idea of a Hendrickson trade if we could get him for just a 2nd and a 3rd, the concern is the amount of cap space he would take up would not allow us to keep all of the guys you mentioned above.

The difference between Trey Hendrickson being available via trade and Myles Garrett being available via trade from what I can gather, is that one is likely not going to get the big contract he deserves (Hendrickson with a Bengals franchise historically known to not pay their star players) and the other is not interested in spending the end of his career with a rebuilding franchise (Garrett with the Browns likely drafting a QB in the first round this year).

Hendrickson would theoretically require less draft capital to acquire than Garrett but more cap space. Since Garrett has expressed a desire to go to a winning team, one would assume if he is truly serious about this being the reason for his trade request, he would be open to taking less to be with a contender.

I do like the trade down scenario in your mock and the selections you have made. TJ Sanders would be a great replacement for Milton Williams. Ferguson is an intriguing candidate to develop behind Goedert. Heavy emphasis on replenishing the OL/DL depth is a winning formula.

I think Reddick comes cheap - he took his shot and it caved. Now he has to be on a ring hunt. 

Withthe new $'s form this week's cap estimates, savings on Bradberry (not counted in over the cap's numbers), and some Howie magic fairy dust I think Hendrickson iis a possibliity. 

Bottom line is that we're going to lose 3 edge rushers  - Sweat who's been consisitently inconsistent and raised his price by beating up on a back up offensive tackle in the Super Bowl, BG, and Charels (who) Harris. BG and Sweaty were keys so using a high draft pick and acquiring one in free agency or a trade is imperative.

I am a no on Reddick. He is gone. He was about money. Missed the ring. Now we have moved on.

Still to be seen is whether Huff develops. I'm not a fan of undersized DE/Edge players.

Is Huff undersized? I dunno. Not looking it up. Is Nolan Smith injury prone? Looks like it.

Replacing Sweat is not easy, but perhaps Howie can pull some magic out of his hat like he did with Baun this year. 

You have us trading that first pick for a player. Maybe. Will Hendrickson work with the Eagles? Huff didn't. Not yet at least.

No QB? What? How ill the QB factory survive?
