March 4Mar 4 Reggie White, Seth Joyner, Clyde Simmons, Keith Jackson, Eric Allen..... all those guys walking away to play somewhere else because of inept coaching was a freakin' crime. I love BG but I wouldn't put him the same league as Reggie. RW should have played his entire career in Philadelphia

He was not as publicly awful as Snyder but that dude was awful.

Guy was a mooch and didn't want to pay anyone. Also didn't seem to care about winning. In a way, Buddy Ryan was no better. Sure, he was a player's coach, but that whole "come up with one or two big plays and let the defense do the rest" was not a winning formula.
March 4Mar 4 Absolutely fine to have BG as your favourite Eagle or be in the most loved conversation. After a difficult start, it was impressive how he turned himself into a very good player for such a long period of time. But he shouldn’t be close to greatest Eagle of all time. He had about 50 less sacks than Reggie (who played a lot more games). One pro bowl and one all pro. Lane has 2 Super Bowls as well but also has 5 pro bowls and 5 all pros. Kelce and Cox were other long serving career Eagles who were better. Then there is Dawkins as well. Love BG but not the greatest.
March 5Mar 5 Just as a reminder to everyone, since I'm willing to be *that* poster...Brandon Graham is an edge rusher who has averaged 5.1 sacks per year in his tenure with the Eagles. Mike Mamula averaged 6.3. Both were drafted ahead of a defensive hall of famer that was the preferred pick.

March 5Mar 5 Strange and unnecessary take. Frankly from Reggie to BG there are plenty of Eagles pass rushers who are likable that do not need to be compared to one another. FYI the Eagles cheap owner Brahman never offered Reggie White a contract. How can Reggie be blamed for that?

Technically, the NFL doesn't have a Hall of Fame, the Pro Football Hall of Fame is a separate entity and covers multiple leagues, though I believe all of the inductees had major NFL experience and really wouldn't have been inducted without it.

March 8Mar 8 I love BG, his leadership, personality and his commitment to the Philadelphia Eagles. That being said, in my book Reggie was just so dominant that he will always be remembered as one of the greatest Eagles ever.

He is one of the most inspirational Eagles player and probably the most loved. The way he overcame adversity and became the leader of the defense. He is going to retire an Eagle. He has played more games for the Eagles than anyone else. Yes fight me, but I 100% believe BG >> Reggie White and is the greatest Eagles player of all time. Lane or Hurts is maybe 2nd. I guess you never saw RW play. He was a monster. Like Jalen Carter on steroids. Always double teamed and still dominating the game on his own. Throwing 300 pound tackles around as if they were boys. There are very few people like that ever played.

Namath is in the actual hall for his mouth. (He was 4th or 5th best QB in a 10 team league) (Snell was the clear and obvious SB III MVP) 3 SBs, 2 rings, and that play push him well into both HoVG and Eagles Ring of Honor William Thomas and Tra Thomas would be 2 ring of honor player that don't quite make HoVG (IMO) You could make an argument that both were better players (its close) but neither had his impact.
