Still young, just turned 28 in january and played for both Vic Fangio (Denver) and D-line coach Clint Hurtt (Seattle).

Agreed..I think Howie is waiting for the dollars to chill out a bit.

One huge positive if we were to sign him is that it wouldn't count against the comp pick formula.  So we lose a rotational DT (Williams) and would gain another rotational DT (Jones) and likely a 3rd rd comp pick in 2026.  Plus have to think Jones is going to cost quite a bit less (Williams at $26M a year is ridiculous).

Indeed! Bizar how a rotational DT who flashed fetches 26M from the Pats.

Think Jones will come way cheaper…
