Posted March 12Mar 12 Will immediately slot in as starting safety while playing some edge. Seriously though - good move. Coming off an injury but should be ready and only 26. Punishing runner and not a bad receiver. Should allow Barkley more rest.
March 12Mar 12 Why did this need its own topic when it’s clearly discussed in the 400++ pages of the blog! Hahaha i like the move wanted him last year before we signed Barkley… might do something might not but I like his size and he is decent catching and blocking. good be great for those 2 fullback sets we run all the time now because the emb trolls say Jalen can’t throw a football.

TRY TO KEEP UP. Its now- Jalen can not throw a football, unless its in the NFCCG and super bowl.

March 13Mar 13 This is a loaded offense now. Barkley, Dillon & Hurts to run the ball. They also bring back the FB, though he can contribute in ST. Defense has lost more players. Look for more action in the draft & FA by FO.

Because it’s standard to create a new topic on new signings and not everyone wants to trawl through a blog. Agreed - if he’s healthy opens up a lot of possibilities. I still think they draft a RB at some point as well, but not early!
March 13Mar 13 We needed a punishing bruising back to help salt away games. If he can help fulfill that role and take that wear and tear off Barkley, then this is a great signing. Think of how Legarrette Blount used to get 6+ yards per carry late in games and just drain the clock. Having a 250lb bruiser means even the best run defenses can be cracked.
March 13Mar 13 I guess if the Eagles can’t tush push then they send this guy at you. I do wonder if this guy makes the roster though.

Damn Saquon always breaking 60 yarders when we're tryna ice games away. Can't be having that sheet next season 😂😂

Just busting your chops I come from when people used to race to start a topic in here! Now it seems everything is hidden in the blog!! Even stupid stuff on the Phillies and sixers! I venture in their more often to look around these days but I used to hate that blog with a passion!

March 23Mar 23 One added bonus to the Dillon signing is that the way the Green By tush push rule change is worded, I can see the Eagles simply lining up Saquon on Hurts’ right shoulder and Dillon on Hurts’ left shoulder and all three of them surging forward when the ball is snapped. They would both (a) bracket Hurts shielding him from a defense coming at him from the side, and (b) moving the defenders across from the LG-OC-RG interior backward. No one pushing Hurts, but plenty of pushing in the portion of the formation that Hurts is trying to exploit.

I like skattebo for his toughness and hunger. I think he is gonna be good but doubt we go after him. As for later round guys I like going back to the well at Clemson and Phil Mafah 6-1 230
