Finally jumping in the foray of draft prospects this year and doing some preliminary research.  Might as well get warmed up with an initial mock!

2. TRADE!  OL Marcus Mbow - With Jaxson Dart still on the board, Seattle...who is armed with picks...makes the aggressive move to get their QB of the future.  Eagles get picks 50, 92 and a 2026 1st, setting us up for another year of hoping a team loses to better our draft slot!  As for Mbow, the Eagles are hot and heavy on OL during the pre-draft process and Mbow has legit experience on the right side.  He'll be the starting RG for the next decade and has plenty of experience playing RT as well.

2. TRADE! DT TJ Sanders - Armed with the extra 3rd rounder, Howie sends our 2nd plus our 3rd (pick 96) to Denver for pick 51 (giving us back-to-back 2nd round picks). Sanders will replace and eventually upgrade the loss of Williams.  

3. Edge Josaiah Stewart - Somewhat of a "tweener" size, but seems like a great fit for Fangio.  

4. TE Gunnar Helm - I think there's a world where the Eagles actually try to get Mason Taylor in Round 2, but they always prioritize linemen.  Also, I think they either end up keeping Goedert or if they trade him, they end up changing their offensive scheme a little and utilize Jahan Dotson more in 11 personnel.  Howie takes advantage of a slight discount to land Helm a little later due to his Combine injury.  Helm could very well develop into a really solid TE1 eventually.

5. TRADE!  Edge Elijah Roberts - Eagles package picks 161 and 165 and send to Indy to move up 10 spots.  Eagles double-dip at Edge, but 2 completely different types of players.  Roberts gives them more of a 3-4 DE type.

5.OT Jalen Travis - Another student for Stoutland U and swing tackle candidate.

5. S Malachi Moore - Will he be here at this point?  Not sure, but would be a great candidate to give some competition and depth at S and Special Teams. 

 

Fast forward to 2026 - Seattle goes 5-12 and the Eagles have pick #8...and...#32 

I actually like it a lot. Prefer Alexander over Sanders but this haul will set us up pretty well!

Thanks man!  I will be really curious what will happen if Dart is on the board at 32.
