This guy has been falling to the Eagles in a lot of the drafts. He could fill in nicely for Milton Williams if he panned out.

Supposedly reports of behavioral/character concerns that could be leading to him getting drafted later than projected. But hey we just saw the same with Carter 2 years ago and knock on wood thus far he's been fine.

Honestly, I think Ojomo will fill in nicely for Williams. In fact, I don't expect a drop-off going from Williams to Ojomo. I'm not opposed to drafting another DT, though since the next guy up after Ojomo is Booker. Booker surprised a little last year and I don't think he's terrible. I just haven't seen enough to form a solid opinion on him.

I liked Williams, but I'm just not seeing a $26M /year starter. He has 11.5 sacks in 4 seasons and that's his strength. Ojomo played just as well in his snaps, IMO.

Obviously Williams' departure creates a hole in the depth that needs filling. I understand that and believe this draft should be a good one to find that guy. I'm just pretty high on Ojomo's potential and believe he steps into that #3 role Williams held last season. But Ojomo also will be entering year 3 of his rookie contract and if he keeps improving, he may be on his way to a Williams-like payday in two years. It's also almost time to for the Eagles to decide on Davis' 5th year option. It would be smart to add cheap talent in this draft --- just in case. I think we all agree Carter will get his huge deal when he is eligible and we'll have less resources to keep other guys that may have a strong FA market.
