Now, she faces additional problems because she's done work to the property over the years and listed the property as having 4 units instead of 5 in order to get around the building codes associated with 5 unit properties. Either that or she converted it to a 4 unit property without getting authorization to do so, in which case she faces penalties for that.

Everything I've seen in public records indicates it's a 4-unit building.

From what I read, it was listed as a 5 unit building when it was built.

Not sure what you mean by the Norfolk thing being dumb? Do you mean dumb on her part about lying on the loan application? If so yes I agree. If you mean dumb as in it’s a nothing burger, then I do not agree. She claimed it as a primary residence to get favorable lending terms compared to what she would have gotten had she accurately stated that it was a secondary residence.
