Where do you have Roger Staubach rated in your all-time NFL QB list?

95th, which coincidentally enough, 1995 was the cowboys' last SB season.

1st

(among quarterbacks who played for the U.S. Naval Academy)

#1 Cowboy QB

#1 Heisman QB

Top 2 70s QBs

Top 10 all-time

85-29 as a starter 11-6 in the playoffs,

2-2 in SBs, and he lost one because his TE dropped a ball in his chest.

He's so far better than Peyton Manning that its not even funny.

In 1971 he went 10-0 and 3-0 and was SB MVP

13-0 combined with 18 TDs 4 picks and a 100+ rating in 1971 when the D was still allowed to assault pass catchers.

The average QB rating in 1971 was 62.2

Only one other QB was 90+ (Griese at 90.0)

Only three more were 80+ (86.2, 81.6, 80.9)

He ran for 8.2 ypc that year as well and 5.5 for his career.

He was a Josh Allen type in a league that was not ready for him. (including his own coach)

I'm working on a just how pathetic was Peyton Manning stat in another thread.
