Posted June 9Jun 9 Back in March, I booked a suite and a regular room at the Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Navy Yard for the nights of September 3 and 4. At the time, we planning a family reunion to celebrate the Super Bowl win by going to the September 4 game (although we had no idea it would end up being against Dallas). Also at the time, guaranteed reservations at the Courtyard were only available at non-refundable rates. Unfortunately, what looked good in March is no longer achievable. None of us are going to be able to attend the game. Is anyone here interested in either or both of the room situations? If so, please reply and I'll figure out how to private message the details. I'm not trying to make a profit, only to recoup money already spent. I haven't thought it through as to how to handle a damage deposit or other way to protect myself against damage by someone else if Marriott will not accept transferring the primary name and credit card on the reservation... but I'm sure we can figure it out.The suite has a separate bedroom with king bed and a queen sofa in the living room. Two nights (September 3 and 4) cost $1455, including tax and fees. The standard bedroom has two queen beds. The same two nights above cost $989, including tax and fees. We've stayed at this hotel numerous times before while attending Eagles games, several against Dallas. For anyone not familiar with it, it's super-convenient (literally just a few minutes walk to LFF), clean, with friendly staff and a bar and grill.
