"Not language I use" but I founded the SJP chapter at my college which says they don't want 2 states, they want 1948 (i.e., no Israel). He refuses to condemn a statement that calls for the murder of all Jews. Yeah dude -- that's being an anti-Semite.

This latest blast on the left really has developed post 10/7/23 and the Israeli response. Most of the people chanting "Globalize the Intifada" or "From the River to the Sea" are too ignorant to understand what they are saying, but it is sad that we don't have elected leader pushing back hard on such language. I think it would be very helpful for someone like Obama to try and squash that language while also airing legitimate concerns about Netanyahu's tactics.

I'm not debating which party is "more boob" because the answer is plainly obvious. But I'd prefer both parties be not at all bigoted. I have some hope for the Democrats at least.

As for Mormons I'm surrounded by them. Like all religions you have the extremists and frauds. Speaking of the latter I can't stand the GOP ones in politics. I feel like going after homosexuals, or African-Americans, would be a bridge too far for any Democrat for sure. Trump...well no rules apply to that guy. Running in a national primary outside of where you are already established is different. Nobody said he can't win, but it's an obstacle like Vikas said for the reasons he mentioned. Like Alpha said if they get out of their own way it won't prevent him from winning.
