Hmm, sounds like he had some great collegiate accolades but still went undrafted for some reason. I wasn't too impressed with any of our backup offensive linemen this preseason, so I'll rate this move a meh.

So Hurts can finally see over his lineman?

Seems he went undrafted only due to his size...which is very oddly small. Do have to wonder if he'll hold up at the NFL level at that size. Seems to have all the other traits and characteristics you'd want, though. Interesting pickup.

Lampkin is an extreme oddity as an undersized lineman, but had glowing reviews of his play coming out of North Carolina.

Says about using him as a fb would love to see a heavy package of him BVS and Dillon and then have Hurts just sneak it haha.

But I do like the idea of some type of heavy package.

Weight wise yes height no

I just went to Phila Eagles dot com and watched 4 plays of his vs Dallas. This guy has amazing feet, technique, speed and quickness on the block.

I am stunned LA waived him and no other team put in a claim. This guy is night and day better than our guys in the pre season, although I do like Kendall

and I think Hinton has real ability. But watch this kid Lampkin block. He small but he's a mauler. I think this guy might be a player perfect for our system.

Can't believe we were able to pick him up. Great move

Kendall has to now be the back up at left guard and center. He may start vs Dallas if the big guy isn't ready to play
