I typically work 4 10 hour days, with Fridays off, so normally I wouldn't care, but of all the weeks, I'm actually going in tomorrow for a few hours to help load a truck. I didn't need this delay.

This is true. The starters never play but maybe 1 drive all preseason. This is basically a preseason game.
