Call it an escape if you want, but it's a dub. No more spitting!

Wasn’t pretty but a wins a win

Disgusting it took less then 2 minutes left in the game to target Brown

I don't know how teams continue to allow Hurts to scramble for first downs on 3rd down.

I’ll take the W. They looked like a team that hasn’t played a game in 6 months. Ugly. Lots to learn from. Bad coaching performance on offense. D has CB issues but getting Carter back will help.

Seriously Collinsworth. Don't sound to disappointed. Ugly win and we'll take it.

Love that nicked covered his mouth so the cameras don’t catch him telling dak if you wanna ever win a Lombardi, "you gotta spit in that thang, dak tuah.”

The Philadelphia Eagles are 2-0 on "Banner Night"

The Philadelphia Eagles are 5-0 on Opening Night during the Hurts/Sirianni Era

Sloppy win, but a win is a win, especially against Dallas and especially when at home.

Love the win, but I dont like some of what I saw tonight. Especially that idiotic penalty by Carter that I believe changed the entire course of the game. Again, its a win, but theres a lot to be critical about. I have no doubt they’ll solve most of it in time, but I just hoped they wouldve looked better, especially defensively.

Such a weird game. Nobody could stop anyone then suddenly no one could score.

Hope dickerson and shipley are ok. 10 days to rest up.

That stupid delay turned a good game into slop but win is most important

Delay messed up both teams it looked like

I don't think he's fully healthy

It's a concerning Dub but it's a Dub. Week one is in the books.

It's concerning the passing game was virtually non existent. Was that Hurts or a weak gameplan from Patullo?

There are no concerning wins in the NFL, especially at this point in the season. It's going to be sloppy league wide and you just need to survive the first month or so and hit your stride come October. Save for the Atlanta game Sirianni's first season, these openers have all been tightly contested with plenty of miscues to go around. I just don't think you can take anything from it when most teams now use the first couple weeks as a preseason.

It's a divisional win. I'll take it. Plus this isn't our full potential. First games with no preseason are usually sloppy. And we survived losing our best defensive player.

This game is so hard to watch. We can’t run and Hurts had 2 seconds in the pocket before it collapses here in the second half. No hot route to get us a first?

Dallas had 8 (maybe 9) guys in the box in the 4th QTR to stop Barkley. For whatever reason, they couldn't counter that with the passing game. Very frustrating. Not sure if it was the OC, Hurts, the OL, or the receivers...Maybe it was all the above...

Defense played a little better once the delay ended but they came out really flat and sloppy. Offense wasn't perfect but they made plays. I think the Delay effected both teams. Reminded me of the Patriots opener 2 years ago. Ironically we won that game 25-20. I think there was a chance for us to pull away but the Delay ruined the momentum. I think the Jalen and Dak situation was a misunderstanding now that I've seen the full video. But that's neither here or there, he needs to keep his temper in check. It's the 1st game, they have time to improve. The good news is our Field General will always find a way to Win.

As they say....a win is a win. I've seen much worse opening game play.

So what exactly was the sequence? Jalen came toward the huddle or was he induced to do it? Then Dak spits toward him and smiles at him to incite him so Jalen foolishly takes the bait and says something and spits back on him?

Patullo had a really weak gameplay. Not sure why we didnt look outside for a new offensive coordinator

I think he was awful. I mean of you don't get your best receiver involved at all it just shows bad game planning. They were selling all out to stop the run and only had no answer. I hope it's not a Johnson situation all over again.

To me that's what it looked like dak spit and laughed... Dak knew what he was doing I don't think Carter should be suspended... Still very dumb on his part
