The Good...

Hurts looked even better. Making a case for best QB in franchise history. He jsut finds a way to win.

Zack Baun also looked like he is improving on last year's stellar season

All 3 running backs looked great.

Siriani didn't do anything stupid :D

The bad...

I have major major concerns about this new offensive coordinator. The offense looked very vanilla. It looked eerily similar to Brian Johnson's offense. At many points in the game I swore Johnson was calling the plays.

They finally got burned shopping in the scratch and dent bin. Adoree Jackson flat out stinks. I don't know what they were thinking with that move. They need someone else there.

They miss Becton. The line had problems opening holes for the RBs and protecting Hurts. It could have been much worse if Hurts had not played so brilliantly.

2nd half was brutal. The continuous runs up the middle into 9 man boxes weren't predictable at all. Who would expect that? Patullo is a genius.

Can a brother get a bubble screen or 10 next week?

Just rewatched the game. Couple of notes. Campbell actually played quite well, particularly for his first start. Not sure what the exact snap count was but Makuba must have been on the field 90% of the time. I didn't note any particularly bad plays by him. Fangio must really not trust Brown. Really disappointed with Jordan Davis. He was getting manhandled on most snaps, even on run plays. I saw more than one occasion where he was actually being driven backwards by the OLine. I like Hurts but he missed AJ and Smitty multiple times. He did really well making decisive cuts when he took off but many of those plays he had his WRs open and really didn't need to run. Barkley is a beast. Baun in a beast. Adoree Jackson needs to be cut. Not benched. Cut. He was embarrassingly bad. I'm astounded that Fangio kept him in, his play was ugly.

I found myself saying quite a few times last night.....OUT LOUD...."Damn, I really miss Kellen Moore running this offense"........

Brutal loss for Cowboys, they had the Eagles where they wanted them and Ceedee's 3 drops killed them.

Same. If that trend continues with the offense looking like that...what is the one thing this year has in common with the Brian Johnson year? Nick Sirriani.

Johnson and Patullo were/are both internal promotions and first time OCs. It's very likely Siri has a big hand in the offensive game plan and design. I hope he learned something from Kellen Moore...or his own ego will be the offense's demise.

You didn’t notice any bad plays by Makuba? I noticed on the long sanders run.. Makuba hit the wrong hole and then throw his arms in the air and fell over backwards as sanders raced right by him..

Didn’t see any news on BVS?

Ya'll have been saying that about every single offensive coordinator that's been on the Eagles since Siri got here.

I certainly didn't miss the overreactions after a game lol.

It was not a great game by the Eagles, but the offense scored a TD in all of their 3 first-half possessions, that was a pretty good start for Patullo. Remember last year when the mighty Moore-led offense couldn't score in the first quarter like until week 8? I'm confident we'll be fine as the season progresses.

The defense was pretty bad the first half, they adjusted, but there's still a lot of work to be done there.

It’s hard to watch every player on every play but I don’t doubt what you saw. I’ll have to go back and take a look

I'm pretty sure you're mistaking Makuba for Jackson. #8 is the player that appears to throw a block at Jihaad Campbell before falling down and maybe attempting an illegal trip as Sanders easily blows past him.

So not only is he awful in coverage, but that is the type of effort we can expect in run defense. Imagine how bad Ringo must be to lose the job and get buried on the depth chart under a guy like this.

Baldy was impressed with his performance. I know he was in the backfield a pretty good amount on some passing plays, and just missed out on a couple of sacks. The interior of the line did get pushed around a bit at times, but I thought overall he was pretty good.

Exactly! I can’t believe people are criticizing patullo in his first ever game as OC where they scored on every possession until an hour long weather delay, and the. Forgetting that Moore took 2.5 quarters to figure it out.

Thanks for posting this, I love when Baldy does his breakdowns. Based on these clips, he did have some nice plays but when I looked at every defensive snap, he was getting pushed around frequently

The new OC looked like s_hit. THIS is why I didn't want to "stay in house" when looking for a new OC. They stayed in house with Brian Johnson. They went outside the house to get one last year, and the O was cooking. Now we are back to trash. That was hard to watch. Gonna be a looooong year.

I seriously love it when we are pissed off after a home, Division/Conference win. 🏈

I'm fine with bolstering the Edge depth, but CB and OG are the more obvious issues.

4 keys to defeating the Cowboys tonight

1. Dominate Early Downs and Control the Run Game

2. Pressure Dak Prescott with Varied Looks

3. Exploit Dallas' Secondary Depth Issues

4. Sustain Energy in a Hostile Home Environment

I don’t think we did any of things but won anyway. I’ll take the W.
